soyeon produced and composed both latata and hann. she’s so talented and I fully trust her with idle’s sound because she already has set a distinct sound for them.
I love this song! It shows their versatility. I bought it and I can't stop listening to it. Their album "I Am" was incredible, if you haven't heard all the songs on it you absolutely must. I am looking forward to their next album.
FYI - Soyeon is the leader and amazing rapper, producer & composer of Latata and Hann ( ALONE ) as well , while Minnie who apparently whislted , guy ! I think this song implied her ex hadn't kept the promise like the scorpion poisoning bite. Well..that ends with her happy whistle sound along with black mourning for her relationship . Let's think when you are happy , do the whistle , right ? This song generally inspires me to keep away from the toxic people too ! Just only my personal interpretation . Let's say " Thanks " to our wonderful SOYEON to create such a unique masterpiece for us . Love u both .( I AM your big fan , though )

I don't think there's a problem with thinking Idle won't disappoint you judging by all of the stuff they've done so far. Also when CLC was changing their concept over and over again, it's because of issues Cube was having with their management. But they've since gotten a new CEO and things seem to have gotten a lot better for them internally.

(G)I-DLE is #1 on Genie #1 on Bugs and Melon #15. I would say that we won’t find out how well this song will do in Korea until at least a couple music show performances. It looks like they’ll do really well in Korea.
Finocide it peaked No.8 on melon. It's rising and falling but I think once they perform it will rise more than fall

My Favorite Part Of This Song Was Minnie + Shuhua In The Beginning. And Soyeon Murdered The Choreography During The Second Chorus. Oh And Minnie Is The One Behind The Whistling I Heard !! 👏🏼👏🏼❤️

Like people have been saying, there isn't so much fear of Idle being given bad songs since Soyeon is the one who writes their title tracks so far. If you watch some of their behind the scenes content, she goes through some of her thought processes.
In terms of the songs success, it is currently doing better than Latata did, which is saying something since Latata is still charting in the top 100 in most korean music charts. Hann has so far topped three music charts.

The song is like light after dark, some magic, some.... it's diffecult to explane but it't amazing. I hear some people like the Latata more because it't powerfull. But I LOVE HANN
At first I felt estranged at the song but it grew on me and now I already like it better than Latata.
ρ I agree! At first, I felt underwhelmed.. and thought I had been waiting so long for their song and didn't relate to it. The second and third time I listened to it it hooked/entranced me.
The style of this song is very mature, alluring.

Miyeon (main vocal) is on pre-choruses, hence chorus that's lightweight may come up as confusing or dissapointing. Or as unusual twist that adds value to it. Anyways, Soyeon deserves compliments for directions they try as a group, like in no way it's a rookie-group quality of music.

I'm surprised by your reaction, Serge! While I do enjoy the song, I think it's the perfect B-side, not a title track. The whistle motif is unique and the kick drum + snare combo provides the verses with an extra punch that I like, totaling enough variation to keep me engaged throughout the song; It's a track that won't exhaust easily in the car, but it's nowhere as memorable or commanding as Latata for me. In that sense, i'm kind of disappointed. But I really liked "I Am" so I have high hopes for the next mini-album!

I dont think clc deserves better. I mean both groups deserve so much better, not clc either idle but both groups. Why would choose one when we can chose both.
