Thank you for sharing your friend's collection with us. It's truly remarkable. All the native plants done so well is very inspiring. I'm across the pond in Canada. If I may, what are the little sachets on each tree? something to deter critters? And please keep on with showing off these fine collections. Many thanks
Firstly I'm glad you liked the collection its very very good. The teabags are actually fertiliser so when you water it doesn't wash away. I have a few more collections to put up in the future. 😊
Funny funny stuff mate my mum's side of the family r in Corrimal n torodgy, belambi I've grown up there every school holidays surfing of the pools ,yeah can't spell ,46 yrs young this yr beautiful part of Oz , cheers
You might as well be a local then. Yes beautiful part of Aus. Some of the best beaches too. Your just a tad younger than me and spelling is overrrated!😁
Super nice collection! We have Kunzea here in NZ but I haven't had success with yamadori - are there any tips you can share on time of year to collect, aftercare etc please? Thanks :)
Collection can be anytime but I would avoid super hot days. I'm not sure what your climate is. When I get a collected tree it's free draining mix of usually pumice with a cap of moss. I water really rally well with wide nozzle till the water runs through and keep going say for 5 seconds. You can do root prune before potting up they are usually shallow root system. Clean cuts to roots Is always good. 👌
Seeing so many fully grown bonsai s was very inspiring for me. Greetings from Germany
