The chicken doorstop is my favorite. I adore that piece. I also love when you find the pie plates. Now you have me on the hunt for some. I love your channel and your family channel. I adore watching you and Thrifting with you. Thank you!
Goodwills prices are making my eyes pop out. Every time you show the prices I think…donated and this is the best pricing Goodwill can come up with! I think if they keep on they will price themselves right out of the thrifting market. I love thrifting but I love to get a good deal too. The chicken is my favorite find this week. Oh by the way, your rooster cracks me up…too cute!!!:):):)
Liked the two Copper containers. Btw I found two beautiful huge baskets at Goodwill, priced for 19.99 each. I left them their. I don't understand why goodwill is so high. Maybe it's cause there training people to have a skill.
I'm going thru my stash of goodies and found about 10 of the wire mason jar holders, primitive decor is back and I'm ready for it 😊. Thanks for taking us along to your Goodwill, I don't shop (or donate) at our local one, prices are unreasonably high. I donate to church thrift shops instead.
I agree. I can go through a Goodwill in record time - prices have skyrocketed and I don't even look at their clothes anymore. Thankfully there are enough other thrift stores in the Dallas area I can still refresh my wardrobe.
I've been thrifting for years but one thing I've learned from you is to love the imperfections in items. And I'm so glad you picked up that little chicken!
I think the wooden thing is a swing for a doll but I would use it for a plant. It is wonderful that you display the flowers your grandchildren pick you. That is so sweet. I love the pumpkin pie plate in the fall. I bought myself some of those little coffee spoons you have and I love them! You found so many cute things. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Julie. #2 the wire with wooden handles, you can put clear mason jars in them and old clothes pins inside and put in your laundry room. Also I liked the chicken door stop, so cute. You can never go wrong with brass planters, they are just beautiful, all full not shiny. I am on the lookout for a pumpkin pie, pecan pie plate and an apple pie plate. I think your right Julie, the through ft stores and Goodwill are starting to fill up again, it's spring cleaning time. Yea!! Hope y'all have a great weekend and it warms up a little!
Hey Julie. Terrific finds! On the wire jar holders, you could go to dollar tree and get their real small terra cotta pots and put in them with some nice greenery that you have. Love the brass plant holders too.
Hi Julie, my vote is for number 3, the brass planters. Boy, you got a beautiful and full pothos plant. I have one of those wire things, and I have a fruit jar in mine and layers of different types of dried beans in it.
I have one of the round wire frames with the wooden handle. Mine came with a mason jar that fit inside the frame and had old wooden thread spools in side of it. On top was a blue glass candle cup and candle. I love it! It sits in my sewing area along with other vintage sewing items from my mom and grandma. I think it would be really sweet if you filled the mason jar with wild flowers. PS I love the chicken! Blessings, Janell
Florenza is Florence Italy. Such a beautiful city. Your do much fun to watch. I did look 👀 Up and Down and found great stuff. Thank you 🙏 Have a Blessed Day ❤
My ears perked up when you mentioned your gc picking flowers. It reminded me of when I picked wild violets on my parents farm as a little girl. Right now their growing wild on our farm. I'm sad I don't have any sm gc to pick them, my youngest is 12. They are the sweetest little flowers. The light purple flowers would be lovely in one of those small white vases. Wild flowers are so beautiful. All my flower bushes are blooming their little hearts out right now, Spring has sprung in Florida. I love all your finds, especially the chivken, so cute ❤.
The chicken is my favorite by far. I recovered some bar stools in fabric like that. I love them. Of course I love the pie plate. I have one just like that, that goes with my collection. Nice haul Julie, as always.
I have one of the wire holders with wood handle. I bought it at a craft show many years ago and it contains a mason jar with a light in it that plugs in.
Hi Julue always a gift to watch your thrift videos !❤ I look forward to everyone of them . My favorite had to be the chicken doorstop! Your rooster is happy you arebthrifting too! He has a new job announcing your videos😅
Great haul... you found some wonderful things. Those wire holders with the wooden handles are fantastic. I have a couple as well and use one as a holder for my mason jar lamp holder. I have filled the mason jar with very primitive potpourri and of course, topped it with a primitive lamp shade and then just put it in the wire holder. It looks great. I also use one to hold a candle as you have done. You could use it to hold a little crock with a plant as well. So many uses! P.S. I LOVE that precious chubby chicken... she is a hoot!
Hi Julie..I am so envious..still going to Goodwill while my husband has his knee physical therapy, and I am not finding the kind of stuff you do. Those brass pots are everything , the pie plate is wonderful for a family member and the little pitcher and the heart primitives are great, but that chicken..oh if she could talk. She is precious. Julie, I took my husband’s bedside metal table..same as the white one you found , and put up the sides and put it in front of the picture window and put a plant and some old books beside it. It looks great and my husband likes it’s new home. Our Goodwill had some new pants with tags for 16.99 and 20.99….I did not buy but found out the brand sells for 229.00 on Amazon. Ours just doesn’t have much old or priced below five dollars..😢 Thanks for sharing ❤
You said which one of the items was your favorite? I have to say the chicken door stop. And the reason I say that is because when I saw it in the beginning of the video I thought to myself how gaudy it looked… BUT when I saw you had hauled it and how lovingly you described it, I thought how you always appreciate things and make things that others may not appreciate, shine. When you described the chicken as you did, I saw it’s beauty too!!
Back when I was young the holders were for mason jars. I have several put away. I used them for different things. Looking forward to see how you use them. Love all of your finds. ❤️
Going thrifting tomorrow, looking for spring/summer decor for the outside of my house, and looking for picture frames for a gallery wall for my teenage budding artist's bedroom, to display some of her water color and acrylic paintings, and different mirrors in all shapes and sizes to spray paint them and hang them above her and her sisters desks that they use for homework and doing their makeup. Found some Gold hanging lights that retract to go above the desks, doing an upgrade to teenager style for the girls room. I am excited to get it started, going to be interesting, one girl loves BOHO look, and the younger one Loves all that glitters and shines. Gonna do my best to represent them both.
@@ThrilledThrifter Going to try our best to have a good thrifting day! Kids are on Spring break this coming week, hoping to get some things accomplished, but having some fun in the process. Enjoy your weekend as well Julie, and Thanks for keeping me inspired to thrift!
Those little metal carriers with the handle you can put a pint mason jar in and put anything in it. They're good for holding or displaying all kinds of stuff.
The brass cache pots were my favorite. Seal the Irish sticker so it doesn't get water damage or wear off. The sticker is such an added bonus. I don't think I've ever seen a "Made in Ireland" except on linens.
Julie, what delicious treasures, love days like that! It seems we all ride home on air , we get so excited. Everything you got is my favorite, but the patinas on the brass plant stands, made in Ireland, Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all! ☘️☘️☘️ there is an App that helps you diagnose what plants need, you actually take a picture of the plant, and the App, (on your iPhone or Google phone) tells you what you need to save your plant. Sorry, can’t recall if the App is free. During the winter season, you can stack wood in them, beside your fireplace. Thanks Julie, what a Fun adventure ❤️🎉☘️❤️
That chicken is so cute. I knew you would love the brass planters. My favorite is the number finds. Never seen anything like it here. Have a blesses weekend
Hello Julie, the wire things are Mason Jar lifters/holders for canning. My Grandparents also used them with the jars to collect their raw milk in. To carry in from the barn. I love watching your videos and how you style your finds! Much love and God's blessings to you!
Great video once again. So much fun seeing what you will find each week. My grandma used the mason jar holders with a mason jar full of forks and spoons. She just left them on the table all the time. She also used one for a plant . She would fill a mason jar with water and root her plant cuttings in it. that one she would hand on the side of her cabinet near her kitchen window. ẞo because of the memories those were my favorites . Thank you again for sharing with us. I really enjoy watching
Julie, I completely can relate! I do the same when it comes to prices and then more times than normal I have regrets upon regrets. Love watching your videos!😊

Love the chicken, she deserves a name I’m thinking! Thelma, Gladys or something. Make her part of the family.
Thank you 😊! Oh how fun!
The two metal pieces originally had mason jars in them.
Can be displayed with the older blue ones and/or jar candles. Even just hanging on a peg rack.
Thank you 😊!

Remember, Goodwill takes all donations for $0 then keeps the profits for themselves. I only donate to charity.
Those wire things with the wooden handle s are for ball or Kerr mason canning jars
Thank you 😊!
Thanks for rescuing the chicken, she’s adorable!
I've been thrifting for years but one thing I've learned from you is to love the imperfections in items. And I'm so glad you picked up that little chicken!

I would have hung the little swing my porch/patio with a cascading plant on the seat.
I see a theme here… it’s more then the stuffed little chicken… it’s the grace you have, Julie 🌹

I used to have the black jar holders; I put Yankee candles in them.
Julie the wire baskets with wood handles hold a pint size mason jar. They were very popular in the late 70’s early 80’s.
I have one of the round wire frames with the wooden handle. Mine came with a mason jar that fit inside the frame and had old wooden thread spools in side of it.
