FWIW, I have experimented with pressurising the surge tank with a couple of PSI. The noisy Bosch 044 becomes heaps quieter when you do this, especially when the fuel is hot. I believe this is due to cavitation and by just adding a few psi pressure to the surge tank you help alleviate this.
I just love how every viewer including me followed the whole process of building such an amazing car from the beginning! Nice job Rob and everyone who worked on it!

You guys have seemingly built one of the roudiest road cars ever. I have a feeling that a Hoonicorn rematch would turn out WAY different! It's nothing short of incredible
Good to see the American dream living strong with the current state of the economy! I love this rx7 been watching since the beginning! I must say though In regards to the surge tank arrangement It’s highly dependent on the type of pump used! It’s typical to run an overflow off the surge tank and this is the standard and preferred method but rotor vane and roller vane electric pumps perform far better and are less prone to cavitation when pressure fed at positive pressure! A second regulator to bypass at a predetermined pressure is all that is needed or in my own beater it’s pumps are staged so at low pressure it runs on lift pump only then the other pumps come in at load,They also last longer and pull less current at the same flow and pressure having less load due to the potential difference of pressure being less! You can discredit what I say if you want or try to dispute my point but with time and more experience you will find yourself contradicted! I’m fairly new to Motorsport and performance car modifications and regard myself as inexperienced with only a couple decades experience in the trade and combined total 35 years of electrical trickery and modifying.

Then have a graphic of the outline of the rip this car pulls from the drag.
Put that on a shirt I'll buy 100+ & hand them out. From South Florida. Been watching for years. I feel like this is my baby, as well, been through tears, and happy and educational times. I wasn't much of a rotary guy, but it's growing like that HP & dFtLb. Mad props. Your dream was a dream you're making come true for me.
Cant sleep due surgery tomorrow at dentis, So am gratefull for this video, Cause this will for sure keep my mind bussy tonight hahaha
It's amazing to think of where you started and where you are now. Congratulations man. Keep up the craziness.
I just love how every viewer including me followed the whole process of building such an amazing car from the beginning! Nice job Rob and everyone who worked on it!
I can't say enough about how amazing this journey to 4 Rotor bliss has been! Such an amazing creation!
honestly. seeing this thing come so far i knew you for a while and seeing this make that much. is mind boggling seeing the twist and turns you guys have and then coming to oer meh god
It’s awesome seeing the grin on your face Rob! Nice work, you have created a monster.
13:37 Whoa that is wild at how it heats up so fast! Also just DAMN yo! This thing is wild.
Finally!!! Who else been waiting for Rob and Rob to get back together!!! Yes!! 4 rotor looking Clean!!!
This man is continuing to prove people wrong. I love seeing it.
This car is so insane, i cannot believe the amount of power and torque this is making now, and the fact that it still works, you really built a monster of an RX-7 Rob, outstanding.
I'm so happy that you able to make it happen after years of holding it back!. 1337 hp bro! leet af.
I’m absolutely obsessed with the fact it’s wrapped as closely to montego blue as possible and shoots blue flames! I’ve seen a montego blue RX7 with mag blue TE37’s and it works so well. I think Ahura would look incredible with a set! 😉
I love when new videos come out. I wish they were more frequent. I almost forgot this channel even existed so much time elapsed this time.
ive been watching since the 4 rotor chassis was being made, maybe earlier.... these are the videos i love to see when they upload!
Awesome to see a rotary do what this one does! Been waiting nearly two weeks too see this, we’ll worth the wait! Good job guys!
This has been an absolute thrill ride all these years
Rob seems like one of the most chill people on earth 🤟🏿🤟🏿 dude have a great soul!
Rob's got that Cole Trickle smile ya know!?? Love it! Congrats boys
SMILES ALL DAY LONG. Such and epic car.
Takes me back to when other people were working on this and I thought, dam, Rob...work on this yourself. And you did, and it's so much better.
8:04 Powertools and that tingelings from the scarf just dingling nearby gave me 👀Be safe Bro
awesome seeing y'all work with IROZ and them letting y'all use their shop to fab stuff up
I can not wait to see the race at hoonigans track. Ive been waiting for another race since the first one with ken. This is the coolest car ever, youre such a huge inspiration. I was literally jumping up and down with excitement when I saw you were back at hoonigan! Coolest car I've ever seen dude!
I've been waiting for a Rob Dahm video for 2 weeks, my life is once again complete.
Glad your still alive brother
Was getting worried because the last video was so long ago. My week is so incomplete with so billet dorritos each week
Can we appreciate Robs inability to control his excitement for a moment. He's usually the calm one but damn, good for you man!
Each video you put is just you taming that monster bit by bit. It's insane how much happiness a car can bring to you and to everyone around you
20:05 , sounded like an exhale. Such a wicked sound.
Rob, this is so sick. You're always excited but I don't get how you're not even more excited.
I can’t be the only one that says daaaamn! Every time I see the 4 rotor. 😮 what a beautiful beast.
I can feel your love for this car. Your smile says it all
20:20 the laugh of a madman when his ideas come true 😂😂
I've been watching since ups lost your engine. It makes me so happy to see this car not only run and drive, but on the street too. Wow. Congratulations
Wow, Amazing to see all the years of R&D come together to make this thing rip. It seems like its all been worth it🙌 The sound alone will make a grown man cry🤣
Jeez, I'm gone a few months and come back to everything yet nothing has changed. I remember when you were racing the 1/2 mile in the 3 rotor. That's when I started following you.
This is my favorite couples vlogging channel.
This channel is the definition of edging god damn it just fully send it already and show the full potential our blue balls need it 😫
I was smiling as soon as I saw the 1337hp show up. No matter how old you get, the 1337 5P34K never leaves you.
