@@CLARKSSPARKSWELDINGHere is a question I have though. How does everyone keep their pancake lens from fogging over when it's cold outside? I tried coating the inside lens with a little soap, but it didn't appear to do a anything. Any ideas?
The brown Wendy's pancakes are a little lighter in weight than the white ones. Just an FYI. A. Ross welding did a video where he weighed several different hoods
When it comes to Carbon Fiber hoods, you should keep in mind that Carbon Fiber is sensitive to UV. To put up with arc-flash, it'd have to have one hell of a robust anti-UV coating on it, and that coating is going to wear down with age. In short: Looks cool, but not remotely worth it.
Heck yea I wanna see that full rig tour to!!
Got one in the works!
I think you will like that Original Pancake hood. I have one and its super tough.
Sweet! Yeah I’ve been using it this week and it’s my new go to for sure
