Thanks and just acquired an X-T50 paired mainly with a 16-80 for travel. My GRIII is my everyday camera. The exposure dial slippage is not a new problem and occurred with older Fujis too - perhaps they should flash an alert in the viewfinder? Firmware update suggestion? PS also a dachshund owner.
Moe! So good to see / hear you. And with PJ photos too! I have 2 nikons now and don't need another camera. Really. But was bit hard by the Leica D-Lux 8 bug. Have a rental unit right now and like it very much. Just not in the budget right now. Like the idea of a smaller "real" camera. Holding a camera up to your eye rather than out in front with the phone is hugely pleasurable. And after this vid I'll rent a Xt50 to try out next. Thanks - Tim

cool review Moe 🙂 a really attractive beast - you and the camera ;-) !!!! I really like the look of this camera, particularly the film sim dial - I think it would get me using those film sims more. But… I've got a pre-order in for a Leica D-Lux 8 and they're the same price. I guess if I don't like the Leica I can flip it (probably for profit though I hate doing that) and get the X-T50. I'm also tempted to get an X-H1 to get that glorious X-trans 2 (is it that or 3???) sensor back in my life in a body to match my X-H2. It's only money!!!
I found the xt20 grip uncomfortable, even for my small hands. And you are right, it's slow in processing. I've exited the Fujifilm system and so much happier with the Olympuses (Olympi? Haha). Way faster despite being older models.
I can't go into Fuji, my lens assortment of Sony E-mount is just too big and lenses are hard to sell in Philippines. We don't have good person-to-person commerce options here. Still going to watch your shows of course -- cheers.
I completely understand that JR. it’s always hard to move from one brand to another. Luckily for me I had trickled into fuji while selling off my sony stuff. Glad to have you along for the ride

Looking into getting a used 27mm myself. Just debating on classic or “redone” one
@@MoeMorales Both of those are scarce as hens teeth these days. One of the reasons I hold back from going all in on Fuji - everything's hard to get.

Funny, i'm renting a D-Lux 8 right now. For what it is I like it quite a bit.
