I’m a young black man I didn’t agree with the way Mike handled the situation with the kid, he has no clue and innocently wants to add an input.
Accused a boy of being an "oppressor" for politely raising his hand. Mikes got some insecurities to deal with.
He let the child know he could choose not to be. You like your narrative though. Stick with it Champ.

He never accused the boy of being an oppressor for raising his hand, he said that he wasn't going to let the white kid speak before he was done talking to the black kid, as that wouldn't have been fair to the latter.

Pretty much child abuse. That child is being taught that he's different and should be treated as an inferior because of Mike's personal baggage with racism. He should not be teaching children.

He said what he had to say in a very calm voice and gave the kid a fist bump. There was nothing but love in that exchange.

@@chadphriday197 The delivery matters less than what he said. He was offended that the first kid was discriminated against by a white person. He *could* have said, "Mason, hold on a sec." Instead he very calmly *chose* to say (he didn't have to), that the other kid was responsible for racism he had nothing to do with, just because of his skin color. That's an adult manipulating a well-meaning child. The fist bump just makes it extra manipulative, because children will always accept them, since they are trained to always trust adults.

Mike specifically said "because IF you jumped in front of him", Not that he DID jump in front of him. And then congratulated him for being an ally. He also said "hold on" as in he was going to get to him and he could put down his hand. Mike didn't do anything wrong.

You're not a bad person, Netflix just loves to force feed their opinion onto the public. They are very large and have little competition (the other streaming networks still can't compete ... yet) so they can say things and only suffer little consequence. Netflix should look onto themselves when it comes to the abuse of power, they are such hypocrites. The child raised his hand because that's what "every" child does when they want to get in on the conversation. If this "Killer Mike" guy asked the white kid a question first, any black kid would raise their hand to participate in the conversation if they wanted to. Typical propaganda.

I guess this series is a yr old. I started watching this bc 💁🏻♀️ I just wanted to hear a black person's perspective. If Killer Mike was the the spokesperson for black ppl 🤔... I haven't even got through the first episode & I'm like he clearly must be playing dumb. This dude has a pothead looking friend ("Sleepy" that's not even doing anything), trying to use him as the image of a black religion. That Mike will create, on his own. 😅 This dude is out of this world.
