⚡⚡About Steph⚡⚡
Steph Tolev is a stand-up and sketch comedian from Toronto, Canada. Her unique brand of absurd and personal comedy has made her an audience favorite across North America both on stage and on television. As a stand-up, Steph has done the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and featured in a TV Gala as well as being part of the Homegrown competition in 2014. She also taped a TV set for the Halifax Comedy Festival that airs on CBC. She was one of the 42 with her sketch duo Ladystache in the Just For Laughs 42 festival in Toronto. During JFL42 she was also a finalist for Sirius XM Radio’s Next Top Comic competition and featured on Andy Kindler’s Alternative show. She was well-received at the acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Fest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Fran Sketch Fest, Big Sky Festival, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver Sketch Fests, as well as North By North East. She’s also opened for Rob Delaney, Eugene Mirman, Brent Morin, Kyle Kinane, Kurt Braunohler, Todd Glass and appeared on the international show “Set List.” She won the award for Best Female Stand-Up at the Canadian Comedy Awards in 2015 and was nominated for her sketch troupe. Her first stand-up album “Hot N’ Hungry” was released this January and hit number one on iTunes and had amazing reviews from both the Comedy Network and Exclaim Magazine. Ladystache also released their first full-length sketch comedy album through iTunes entitled “So Many Wolves” which had rave reviews from the Comedy Network and also hit number one on iTunes.
On TV, Steph’s been featured on Much Music’s “Video on Trial” and MTV’s “Losing it”, and had her own stand-up special on iChannels program “No Kidding”. A celebrated member of the Canadian “Comedy Records” label, she’s performed at numerous colleges and Universities across the country. She is currently living in Los Angles performing all around the city being the grossest Bulgarian in town.

Oh my heart.
I just heard the part about miscarraige and how common it is and I am in tears.
My now husband and I, during the first year that we were dating, suffered the loss of our sweet baby boy when he was only 3 days old, due to a very rare genetic condition. It was back in 2018, ad it was one of those situations where he would have had a hard life, and wasn't expected to make it past his first 6 months to year, so we had to make the absolute hardest and worst decicion ofour lives.
Ever since then we have been trying so hard to make it "okay" yo say his name, and we celebrtae his birthday every year, as well as mourn his death; my best friend who met us a few years ago always brings cupcakes and a candle, and we got married in October because we both LOVE Halloween and I love October sports tooo (football and hockey) and we wanted a reason to look forard to October again.
I'm sorry my spelling and grammar, i have wikedd ADHD and a HUGE shitastic storn of a mess up in my brain but I just wanted to say thank you SO MUCH to the Sklar brothers (90's kid here; loved you guys since Apt.2F!) and STEPH OMG you are FUCKING AMAZING. THANK YOU for making it okay to be a dirty foul mouthed funny woman again. My mother would have LOVED you!!

I went through the same kidney stone surgery and stent issue. The stent was the least pain out of everything.
My parents had a son, two years later had another son who passed suddenly at a few months old from sids. Their family dr told them if they didnt get pregnant pretty much immediately, that they wouldnt have more kids due to the grief. They had my other brother a year later and me (daughter) eventually ten years later.
