Obviously I haven't heard every talented child in the world sing and I cannot say she is better than any girl that I have heard. I believe the word "better" is highly subjective and an insult to others. Having said this, I am profoundly touched by Angelina's spirit both on and off mic and stage. She is a gentle soul with a giant vocal range. I believe that any parent searching for a perfect roll model for their child, Miss Jordan is at the top of the list.

I have to agree. She has captured the hearts of so many. She makes the unemotional emotional. It feels like there's a purpose? No one & No words! The orchestra giving her a standing ovation performing It's a mans world, was something else. Watch the conductor look at her when she lights it up!

I remember wanting to see Adele perform live years ago. She quit traveling to have a baby which is just fine. Then along comes Angelina on AGT and I began to look into her performances. I quickly fell in love with Angelina's voice and performances. I never turned back and I may never see Angelina live but can listen to her every day. Thumbs up.

But I find Angelina Jordan's personality even more extraordinary.
Seems like this young woman never has negative thoughts in her heart. Look at his attitude, his gestures. In his eyes you can still see and read the grandeur, the elegance, the beauty, the peace, the innocence, the nobility, and even the purity and spirituality and yet still so simple. It is something magical. It's amazing to see this in this humanity so violent, so self-centered.
I think it is the perfect beauty of this rare soul that expresses itself and makes itself heard when it sings. It is for this mystery that it touches our souls. Angelina Jordan is like a ray of sunshine in a world of darkness.

When Angelina sings, I can understand every word she sings. It is almost like she communicates directly to the soul. Her vocal skills are brilliant !!!
Angelina is one of the few artists to whom the expression 'a musician's musician' fits perfectly. An example from the past would be Mel Tormé.
Your reactions to Angelina are so supercharged with excitement and sheer spontaneous honest words. It is so interesting that Adele's personality is so noisy and flagrant and Angelina is just the opposite with the innocence and humility of a gifted young child. I have tried to check out AGT 2020 contestant videos this season and you are right, Angelina has taken me away. Just as she has taken you.
She sings the song better then Adele.
This an introspective song, an external expression of an internal struggle with self doubt, fear and reminescence of a time when life seemed simpler and clear.
I have this imagined idea that she approaches some notes like an artist does Pos/Neg space. She seems to dance around the note. It's close to the note to define it.

Although I do like Adele, I have come to the opinion that even though she has a very pleasant voice she just sings the song - just another song to sing. Angelina lives the emotions of the song. The way she pronounces some of the words in the lower register sort of gives this a European flavor. I know she's Norwegian, but typical there's no accent at all. Reminds me of listening to her in a cafe or small club. Really interesting.

Angelina Jordan IS The Barefoot Angel! In my opinion there are many great young female singers in the world today! Probably more than any other time in the last 60 years! RUclips and other media outlets are greatly responsible for this. Since 2010 there have been many under 21 to emerge. I can't possibly list them all! But in my humble opinion the 4 best of them are in no particular order, Grace Vanderwaal, Diana Ankudinova, of course Angelina Jordan and the one who started this renaissance and arguably the leader, Jackie Evancho. Jackie opened the door for those who followed. They all owe her thanks! I won't argue who the best is because they all have their loyal fans! I will however sit back and enjoy listening to them!
Don't forget Connie Talbot who is almost a Jackie Evancho clone. She sounds like Jackie, and they almost look like sisters. I feel very uncomfortable watching her however because she spends too much time smiling at the camera,I guess she is trying to look mature, or sexy She is pretty enough, and sings well, but when you are used to Angelina who does absolutely no theatrics, just closes her eyes and sings her heart out, then I think anything else is overkill.

I think the NGT & AGT ones would need pauses.
Vocal music art doesn't have on one of its purpose to engage artists in a competition, but to give to each an opportunity to shine for us.
Any comparison between Angelina and Adele or any of the original singers of her covers to find a winner becomes tainted with favoritism and unfairness.
It will hurt Angelina's feelings and it will be disgraceful to say, for instance, that she is better than Adele, thereby insulting Angelina for her choice of idols.
Adele is an inspiration for Angelina and she had very nice compliments to make concerning Angelina's vocal abilities.
Respect between artists and respect for each one of them is a mark of utmost admiration for the singularity and uniqueness of each one talent and contribution to their art.
To have a preference and to state it positively is the honest way we should play the game in the first place.
I love Angelina's choice of Adele's songs and i love Adele for inspiring Angelina to showcase her gift and her multitalents.

In this song, IMO, comparing the two versions (original of Adele and the Angelina's cover), she, at 12 years old, is decidedly more emotional and profound, with tones in a wider range than Adele and more, she is reading while singing 😍 😍

Angelina didn't need AGT. When you've been in concert with Chris de Burgh and James Blunt in one night, and many concerts of her own, she's well on her way. In the arrogance of Americans, they will probably always claim she broke in America on their show. Pfffft. lol
I don't like rating Angelina's performance against Adele's. So I would not want to say that one is better than the other. They are both fantastic. But I can say that for me, I would rather listen to and be moved by Angelina's version. But I have bought into her so much that I don't believe I can make an objective judgment; just a purely subjective one. And of all the singers on this planet, she makes me FEEL the most. And for me, that's what I want from a singing performance---EMOTION! And in my subjective judgment, AJ is the best at that. So that being said, and with that criterion in mind, she is the best singer in the world (IMO). I apologize if that seems contradictory. I love the fact that Angelina's family allows to have a peek into their world (rehearsels, trips, etc. It make one feel as though they are your extended family. I live to see Angie laughing, and having fun, not acting like a stuck up snob like her fame has went to her head. She is so mature, elegant, super intelligent, yet so humble. She is my hero for following her heart and going with Jazz, oldies,classics, Elvis, etc. instead of mainstream pop, or "Stuff" not fit for young ears. At age 76, I love her as much as if she were my own flesh and blood Grand daughter. I am sure there are many others out there that feel the same way. This young artist is different from all the other great voices out there, (Diana, Grace,Jackie, etc) Angie exudes LOVE, her voice is so smoky, and magical, you cannot get enough of it.. I spend a hour every evening with my headphones on listening to "It's Magic" I lovingly call it ANGIE HOUR

How does an Adele, a Miley Cyrus or a Lana del Rey feel when a friend (or a label exec during contract negotiations) sends a link to a video of a schoolkid blowing them into the weeds with their own songs? If there's anyone who thinks Adele sings this or her 'When We Were Young' better than Angelina, they must be in the tiniest of minorities because I haven't seen one such opinion. As I've said before, my worry for Angelina is that she'll receive a frosty welcome from various industry quarters when she becomes a fully-fledged recording artist. She'll be called more than rude. That's why I hope she's done with the covers. The plain and simple truth is that she is too good and entering an industry where egos are fragile.
She has been performing live since she was about 6 usually accompanied by a a band or an orchestra...and many by a guitar accompanying her. Amazing and mesmerizing, everything she shares!

I too stopped watching the talent shows. I think she's looking at the words. I see her doing this all the way back to I Put a Spell on You. It's weird, but she still fully inhabits the emotional core each song. Our hearts are broken and then she and smiles and waves. Adele is generous. She might ask AJ to join her in something.
