Ive followed her since the voice. I remember being so gobsmacked when she got voted out! Truly shocked that nobody saw that she was way way better than everyone in the competition. I picked out her voice in every song without knowing she was on it and never understood why she didn’t become famous like she deserves. So stoked about her new singles. Best record yet „disconnect“ 😍😍😍😍
What I love about Becky hill is that she is grafting. Graft graft graft. She will graft to the top. It’s giving successful long term career and my girl can sing!
I really wanna see Becky and Dua colab. Hopefully some music for sure, but also some cultural stuff. They both have done some media work showcasing their love for British music, and I could really see a BBC docuseries on the definitive history of British rave music and culture, produced by Dua with Becky presenting alongside the likes of Idris Elba and Fatboy Slim. Someone please tell Dua to write this in her magic notebook 😉
Becky Hills music is quite literally the soundtrack to my married life and has carried us through all of our ups and downs. We have danced and cried to her beautiful voice and we cant wait to see her live at the Scarborough open air theatre in aug 2023! We cant wait! We love you Becky Hill.
i hear her point about her not being cared about while oliver heldens became massively successful from her vocals, but the guy did 99% of the work on the track lol. and her point about david guetta making the featured singers the focal of some of his songs, that is a choice, he doesnt need to do that. again, he is the producer, so why should the singer get more credit than the producer whos done most of the work and led the direction of their own track? in pop and rap music, producers get fucked over most of the time, people rarely talk about that and its still a thing to this day
@@MrHcharles i think people should be rewarded based on the size and effort of work they've done. If singers arent being recognised after they did the least work on a song, then they should work harder and earn the recognition they want so badly (which she did eventually so theres no need for her to complain lol)
@@N9TT-9G0A-B7FQ-RANC9 lol, yeah, david guetta is a mug producer who gets fucked over lol, ya bumbaclot and what about when tracks are done live? a singer is putting their money maker on the line everytime they hit a high note and the hard done by producer is just plugging his USB drive into a socket
Fact is, Majority of these songs aint shit without the specific vocal artist performing on the track regardless of whose made it! Generic dance tracks turned into something magical because of the voice! As if artists should get as much credit when they are the reason 9 times out of 10 the tracks a banger in the first place! Thousands can produce a quality track........ Not many can belt out vocals like Becky Hill.

But you agree it’s not right and should change right?
