Oh sweetheart ... being raped or sexual harassment is something else from all the crimes. It hurt way way more than a mere human can imagine... especially when you feel like you're alone and have no one to comfort you, who you can trust or take a break from this dark world.
I know what it feels to be sexually assoulted. It's f*cking painful, crazy and pathetic. To tell you the truth, I was scared at the time and I'm not embarashed to say it... I got saved by a stranger and police didn't even care to find who ever that man was. I become angry! I become angry at all the people who said they love me and that they will always help and support me when I need them. That they will protect me... but instead they judged me and treated as if I was at foult or that what happen is "no big deal"... Yeah, sure... when a man jumps on you, beat you, tear your clothes and put his hands where he should never put... yeah, it's no big deal!
What a disappointment... Isn't it disappointing? XXI century and it's still like in ancinet ages. Victims need to hide because they are judged by everyone as if they were the bad onese.
I really hope you get better. Really. Whoever has ever hurt you will rot in Hell, and the people who have abandoned you, those who have let you down ... don't waste your energy on them. They don't deserve you. Maybe I don't know who you are, but I believe you are a wonderful person.

As my father taught me, treat every gun like it's loaded. It might not be, it might not go off but we don't know.
The first time it happened to me i was 7.. i told my mum and she believed the boy.... not me.. and i had therapy for my "lying" for years .... i saw that boy every weekend and i was even stupid enough to think he loved me and so we were dating and he made us play dirty truth or dare and i said no but he said "but you're my girlfriend" and "dont you love me?". It went on for ages... and he's not the only one that's "taken advantage" of me... i wont say how many times and i wont say any more details ... all i will say is i was weak and didnt know what was happening and thought i was to blame for each and every time... and from when something like that first happened (when i was 7) to now.. (the last time something of this sort happened was last week). i have been too kind and trusting and ive been hurt many times .. including last week.... Online and In Real Life. Both has happened to me many times and both have affected me massively... i used to be so full of joy and happiness and i was searching for someone, anyone to make me feel less alone.... and because i was so desperate for that.. people have bullied me and been horrible and indecent and have betrayed me ... i really was weak and nothing could be done... but now i know what to do with people online... i can block/remove as friend/unfollow. i can just not engage if things turn badly.. i will NOT compromise with them nor will i give in due to feeling guilty... because that just leaves me even more hurt and alone. that can be changed... For example... last week... if i just stopped talking to the person (online) .. none of what happened would've happened .. i didnt have myself. i wasnt strong enough to protect myself. i was stupid and have been for a long long time. but now im realizing that.. i will be stronger and i WILL be there for myself and if i have to be alone.. i wont be lonely because i know i can be there for myself. i can protect myself. In Real Life is different (last christmas time was the last time something like that happened to me) i dont really know what i would do to protect myself from horrible people In Real Life.....

It’s “not all men” yet I’m a 14 year old girl and I’m afraid to walk alone at night. Not all men but I get scared to pass a group of guys. Not all men but I flinch whenever a guys hand gets near me. I was SA a year and a half ago by my 26 year old half brother. I was 13. And yes I know that not all men will hurt me but I still get panic attacks from it and i still feel every touch from that night and I still feel my heart breaking because my half brother was supposed to protect not hurt me. Everything was ripped away from me that night and to hear other women get SA is just sad to think this is the world that we live in. I genuinely feel bad for women and girls who go through this, I was sexually harassed by girls and boys thought my life, it sucked and I didn't know how to feel or even understand it, all I knew is that it didn't feel right at all.
I was never physically sexually assaulted, but I’ve had remarks said to me. I was cat-called because my oversized t-shirt covered my shorts. I never had the wanting to gain muscle and strength before. But after getting sexually assaulted verbally, and hearing stories and watching videos I realized that we women/females are targets. So now I workout in hopes that I can defend myself. No one should have to live in fear. And yes, we know it isn’t all men.

Just yesterday a guy drove up next to me while I was walking my dog and started shouting at me asking me for my number. When I kept walking and ignored him. He back his truck up and pulled into a driveway to continue shouting hey! What's your number? I turned and told him to leave me alone. My dog is a German shepherd, I was surprised he even dared but it was probably because he was in his car. I ran the rest of the way home once he drove off.
When I was like 8-9 I had a best friend and her brother would touch me when we were alone.. didn’t know what was going on since I wasn’t matured and young at the time but it’s still traumatizing.. so yeah not ALL men do terrible things but the bad guys are still out there :/

That plot line in Law School made me cry so much... that scene when she’s finally able to speak up in court. It was more than two years ago, but I still remember how I audibly cheered. I started crying, smiling, and shouting because of how proud I was of a literal fictional character. Great edit.

I was 3 when my 16 yr old cousin convinced me to play "marriage" and 7 when it stopped. He was made to go to church and pray more, while I was told that he didn't know better and to forgive him. 11 when my youth pastor got me pregnant, he went to jail for only a year while I was shamed because I must have tempted him and lead him astray from god and told to beg god for forgiveness, when I had an abortion they shunned me and called me a murderer and a wh0re. I was 18 when my ex-fiance held me down with a knife and then choked me until I passed out and had his way with me because I didn't want to get pregnant, the cops cut up and joked with him because he told them it was my fetish. 22 when my best friend roofied me because I had told him I didn't want to be with him, thankfully his father walked in and stopped him, he only served 6 months and the same man that saved me told the entire community that I made it up as a way to get back at his son because he didn't want to be with me. I KNOW it is not all men. I KNOW there are good men. I also don't care because until we can magically know who will do this to us, I will treat all men as if they are a loaded gun waiting for their moment. That's not to say I am not kind or polite when deserved, it's that I am cautious of them all.
