@@BerninaInternational My light isn't flickering, it is on despite the foot being down and the door being closed. The hand crank is working just fine, but the foot pedal is not working at all.
@@kristenungstad3252 Dear Kristen, it's hard to tell from a distance, but it seems that somehow the sensor of the looper cover has moved or has been bent and therefore the machine detects an “open cover”, thus does not sew upon pressing the foot control. What you can do is either contact your dealer or try to help yourself. If you are technically savvy, I propose that you try the following: When the looper cover is open, see that metal piece in the right corner, next to the silver sticker? This is the contact to the sensor when you close the looper cover. Please check where the metal goes when you close the cover. Try to activate the sensor with the back of the tweezers and see if you can have the machine running with the foot control. If yes, the metal piece needs alignment. Do it yourself or let your dealer check that and give your machine a little tlc!
Tiffany--we are sorry to hear you are disappointed, but would like to recommend having your local BERNINA dealer take a look at your machine issue with the Free Hand System.
@@Just-a-girl Dear Tiffany, this is very unusual. Please get in touch with your BERNINA dealer. He will certainly be able to explain the reasons for the delay. Maybe a certain part is missing and needs to be replaced. Due to Corona and the global logistics crisis, parts availability is unfortunately limited. If the answer from your dealer is not sufficient, you can also contact the distributor in your country. Contact information can be found on our website. The constant dinging sound behind the music sent my husband through the roof. I had to put my ear buds in to maintain harmony in the home. :)
Interesting... but I'm laughing as it is not linty at all! Just bit and bought the L460 today. Replacing my venerable Elna 925 that is 21 years young.
Why is the lights flickering on my serger L 460
Hi Christina, thanks for asking. If the lights continue to flicker, please get in touch with your BERNINA dealer!
