  • Professor John Collins is a walking, living and breathing almanac of Ghana's music culture. His work is vital and integral to the documenting of important occurrences, people and places in the space. As an archaeologist, his scope of knowledge extends well beyond music history and we attempt to elicit as much convo out of him as time allowed.

This is my third episode in two days because I believe this podcast is absolutely important for us as young Africans seeing as we know next to nothing about the stories behind the music that served as the soundtrack to our lives.

This was mind blowing. Prof really had a lot to say, not only about music, but life itself. Amazing job, guys! Bravo!

This episode is wild deep. Love to see the quality conversations and insights, especially the ones about our culture that seem to have been overlooked.
