Meant to ask as well ... any videos as to how you guys moved that beast around ... it is a challenge for us even with a big tractor.

Cory ... greetings from Texas ... great video ... cool to see the process of cleaning one of these up ... how many hours did it take end-to-end ? I ask because we have a 1935 K6 ourselves ... in about the same shape as when you guys started on yours.

Hi Stanley! Great to hear that you have an iconic Piece of British history in America :). The process was lengthy due to us not having power tools or a sandblaster. We used heavy duty paint remover and a wallpaper scraper, this took us around 12-15 hours to remove, however if you have power tools it should be a lot quicker and easier. All together the whole restoration took around 7 days to complete. And as to your other comment the company we bought it from lowered it into place with a hiiab truck (a truck with a crane attached). However you could possibly manage to do it with a tractor however I would recommend placing old tyres around the telephone box to cushion the blow incase it falls. But I would highly recommend using the hiiab truck to minimise the risk of damage. Thank you for the comment! I hope everything goes well for you and I hope I can see the finished product:)

Also Stanley, I highly recommend that you use the website below to find all the spare parts you might need, these are fully restored parts from other k6 telephone boxes also I’d recommend ordering the original paint from this website too :)

Hey Cory did you use the foam seal to fix the glass back in? If so any tips? As I tried a few days ago with little success

Hey, sorry for the late reply, we used clear silicone and found it worked well! :)
