- We finished crossing the Atlantic Ocean!! After hanging out in in Salvador for a few days we finally got to go island hopping again! A stop in the island of Ilha De Bom Jesus will be one we will never forget. While cooking breakfast we heard a loud "Squaaaawwwk" to find two wild and curious Macaws wanted to come say hello. Cruising is an amazing lifestyle and we're constantly rewarded with incredible and unique experiences... this one is up there as one of the best!!

Those are Araras (Macaws), a couple. Kinda "big parrots". They make couples and live this way their whole life. They don't do anything, are somewhat curious. If you gave them some biscuits or fruits, they'd be your BFF :)

Salvador is a big city and you really have to keep both eyes open, specially when you're clearly a tourist. But, apart the "smart ones", people are friendly. Except that they served you one of our worst beers! OMG!

Felt at home again, but bad beer there. Araras are great birds and are very friendly, u just had to give them some fruit and they would return the next day too. Pity that u have to be aware when walking around and if it wasn't for that u could call Brasil a paradise😢. Hope u guys have agreat time there take care and fair winds❤
We actually came back to this anchorage about week or so later and they DID come back!
