I actually found this quite helpful. I'm always concerned when the game seems headed for a pawn-less ending where I may be forced to demonstration some difficult method of winning. I actually find the K+Q vs K+R ending the most difficult. I've watched countless videos on it and there doesn't seem to be a cookie cutter method that can be applied. The demonstrated "method" always seems to involve some counterintuitive maneuver that is based more on intuition than methodology. Intuition is not a method.

Seemingly queen vs knight can be quite nightmare, at least it seems to be and just think if there is a game and time involved.
May I ask, how often in these hobby level games or why not in general this scenario happens ? Is it really worth to put time and effort to this endgame ?

Hey Hikaru. Wasn't sure what the best way was to get ahold of you but I recently started watching your RUclips videos and got hooked instantly. Had an idea/suggestion for a new video, since you seem interested in unique chess deviation games (5D chess, Fog of War Chess, etc).
There's an app I ran into on Google Play called Chesscraft. It has all these odd alterations to the game, including unique boards, pieces, and game conditions. I've LOVE to see you give some of these challenges a try. It has an adventure mode but you can also create your own custom boards and games. I hope you give it a try :)
To my fellow Hikaru followers, consider downloading the game as well. You'll see what I mean about it being so intriguing. Maybe if enough of us suggest it, he'll look into it :)

It's a skill you can practice quite a bit. Especially when King + Queen vs King when the Queen is cutting the king off to a side/back rank. It's like 1 legal move each time. If you want to avoid stalemate, you just move the king. Obviously, Hikaru is good enough to do this in far more complicated positions, but this is something an intermediate player should be able to do. (note, I''m not even talking about finding the best move, just a forced checkmate)
