I don't know if they said anything about this being a prequel but that was my exact thought as well the moment KB appeared considering they're a couple in their other MVs so maybe we're onto something here, especially because everyone else thought the same lol My interpretation of this is Yoojung has a crush on KB and wishes to live freely as himself but KB is closeted and suffers because of it. In the lyrics Yoojung expresses his desires, talks about him falling in love with KB and directly addressing KB, questioning him about why he pretends to be something he's not and wanting to take him "there," as in to a free world, even if it's in the same one they live in. The cranes seem to represent his desire as well as their relationship, one crane is his solitude and as well as his love for KB that he leaves at KB's house, either as a way to try and move on or as a form of confession, I can't tell which, and when KB goes back to the store there are now two cranes on the counter, signifying he's willing to be with Yoojung and wants to be free as well. Also, assuming this is a prequel about them, then libidO is the 2nd part and skinz the 3rd one, and apparently in the skinz MV we see Yoojung and KB touching hands with Yoojung wearing a ring on his left hand, according to someone on twitter (i can't remember who, sorry) that could be an engagement ring, so maybe KB proposed when they went to Jeju, and that's probably a hint about them reaching a happy ending, that free world Yoojung wants to go to.
I absolutely love Only One Of. Their discography is immaculate & they are so SO underrated. I love this song, love the lyrics, love everything it stands for, everything about it. I loved your reaction so much. ❤️

Each OOO member will drop a solo single album in the upcoming months, so please look forward to the continuation of this story. KB & Nine also participated in the composing and arrangement, so it adds even more authenticity to the story they are telling. Regarding background vocals, it is very likely to be KB. For the most part of the MV, KB's appearances overlap with the background vocals almost perfectly. Their producer Haeil could have contributed to some of the background vocals as well. His voice is like averaging KB & JunJi, so sometimes it is a bit hard to tell. Anyway, the background vocals are beautiful and strengthen the song a lot, which is always a staple of OOO's music.

I've been discovering OnlyOneOf through your (and Brian's) reactions. It continues to be really fun and they continue to really impress me with their sound and concepts. This MV was ADORABLE.
I love the song and I like the mv:) it's really cute and I was suprised.. the group got alot of hate because they show boys loving boys and they just Continue to do it, even in their solo work... so I really appreciate it but I really want a girl group to do a simular concept so I can relate more!!

My interpretation is: This mv it shows two different sides of love. One accepting the love of his and celebrating it which is Yoojung and another one coming to the terms of it but still can't accept the fact of it and in denial which is KB. When KB saw Yoojung he was attracted to him but couldn't accepted the fact that he has liking within the same gender but he also couldn't ignore his desires. So he frequently visits Yoojung's workplace. In one evening when his feelings brust out, he drink himself but as we know a drunk person could never hide his feelings so he again went to visit Yoojung and throw himself on him. As Yoojung saw how miserable was KB with his feelings, he accepted he can't like KB forever thus decided to move on after spending the night with him. At end of the mv they both became akward even though they knew they had spent the night together. One ignored the fact another one can't accept. Also the crane symbolizes the disers of these two which they can never have with each other. The lyrics are also sad and heartbreaking.... I know you paid a close attention to the scenes but if you matched the lyrics with the scenes it shows how much heartbreaking this is.
Late comment but they said they use the phone boot as way to represent how open/out is someone [could be for more then being LGBTQ ]YooJung iskind of in and out [Will comment for he rest in the other videooos to avoid spoiling someone]
