Such beautiful music. This song is certainly an "R&B Classic." You will not hear music like this today. The "slow jams" of today, are filled with rough, sexually explicit lyrics. Not sweet, romantic love lyrics like this song and many others of that time. Songs like: "Spell" and "What's Come Over Me," both by Blue Magic. And "La La La Means I Love You," by The Delphonics. I was a child in the 70's and I grew up listening to this music. My parents are from Philadelphia and The Delphonics, Blue Magic and The Stylistics are all "Philly Boys." :)
