When I bought this nook, I didn't know it was part of a series, Travel Around the World. Some places I've seen show it to be a three part series, others show four. (I have two others in the series; one has been built, but I'm not finished with the video yet. The other arrived with a broken mirror, and I'm looking for a replacement.) Honestly, ‪@cutebee8199‬ is one of my favorite nook manufacturers. Their kits are well crafted, beautifully detailed, and I can count on them to bring me joy throughout the assembly process. Typically, when I see a new nook by ‪@cutebee8199‬, it immediately goes on my wish list and I watch sales for it to be within my budget. BTW, they are currently having a 30% sale on their website. (No, I'm not an affiliate, nor do I receive anything for mentioning them; I just really like their nooks.)
This nook kit met my expectations, and still provided a new experience. Unlike most kits, where you build the small parts first, this one had you accessorizing the walls within the first few steps. There were minimal furniture pieces to create and fill every corner; perhaps because it was a street scene? Yet, I really liked that. Especially when the lights came on to illuminate the street at the end. I found myself getting lost in the scene, imagining just being there, walking those cobblestone streets, hearing the piano music spilling out from the joint at the top of the stairs. Laughter and chatter from the community rising and falling in patches as you passed by. Definitely created a microworld that was soul satisfying.
