I am inspired by the landscaper Shawn and his relentless pursuit for excellence. I especially love the confidence in his statements and ability to do what he does best. He presents a truly poignant lesson: whatever you do, do it to the best of your ability. Thanks Shawn for the lesson on the bromeliads and mosquitos. God has blessed you with a gift which you recognize; glory to God!
Beautiful!!! I can live in this garden GOD bless you young man to take care of HIS beautiful creation. You can feel the love and dedication that goes into every area.
Wow!! that's such a lovely garden and Shawn is really knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. My experience with the bromeliads are that the mosquitoes will breed in them, however if you spray them when you spray your other plants it eliminates the mosquitoes. I really enjoyed this tour. Thanks for taking us along. 🥂
What a wonderful garden and Gardener Shawn. His employers must be sooo proud of him. And Thanks for the encouragement and advice Shawn. Great videos as always, HHG
I love your programs.I left Ja in 1971 and I garden in COLD Ontario Canada.I do not think I could garden in Ja---sooooooo fearful of the LIZARDS !!! Anybody agree ???? Susan M
Wish i had a hired help like this knowledgeable gentleman. He's such a wonderful caregiver to the plants, no wonder the garden is so beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing Fay, i really enjoyed the tour😊👍💯
OMG!!! YOU BLEWN AWAY MY MIND WITH THIS AMAZING GOD'S CREATIONS. I can say, really " LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL" and the things that surround us..... LOVE, LIVE, LIFE PLANTS. "THANK YOU SHAWN FOR SHARING YOUR. BEAUTIFUL HAND TO THE WORLD!
As a child, I saw Bromeliads [didn't know the names then] growing on Guango trees which were near the Rio Minho River. When the trucks, heavily laden, and well stacked with cut sugar cane on their way to Sevens Sugar factory drove under the branches reaching far across the roadway, the Bromeliads would often get dislodged, only to be crushed under the wheels of other vehicles, including donkeys! Having "said" all that, yes, Bromeliads can grow on hosts, other than in earth/dirt
Good morning Fay, I want to say thank you, thank you for putting this channel together. I came across it on Saturday and have found myself walking around with my device to watch the different episodes on the channel. Thanks Redrose. You're correct; bromeliads ,like orchids, are epiphytes as they only grow on objects or other plants for support and do not feed on them as parasitic plants do.
