Can you do some videos aimed at seniors please? Some ideas of interest are:
1. What is the quality of the specific hospitals? What is the quality ratings of the specialist doctors?
2. What are the RV parks like compared to condos and homes?
3. Are there laws against parking a small van or RV on your property or in condo communities?
4. What are the best supermarkets in Tuscon that sell the highest quality organic fruits, vegetables, and grass fed beef?
5. I understand Tuscon has a very high crime rate. What neighborhoods are safest and which ones are the most dangerous? (I am looking at Avondale). At some point driving will no longer be possible so seniors think about being close to doctors offices, supermarkets, and transportation. For this reason I think the suburbs eventually are not good for seniors. Especially if they live alone.
6. How do you keep an apartment or condo when you leave for the summer? Who looks after it? What does that cost?
7. How are the assisted living facilities when it comes time to give up your home near the end of life?
8. Who is the best auto mechanic in Tuscon?
9. Is there a Sun City type 55+ community in or near Tuscon?
10. Does the university have an adult learning program for non degree students?

1. Does mass transit accommodate wheelchairs?
2. Does the Area Agency On Aging operate in Tuscon? (That's a national charity that financially helps caregivers who help the elderly).
3. Does meals On Wheels operate in Tuscon? Is there a waiting list? How long?
4. What assets, if any, can a senior have if they apply for welfare or food stamps? Can you own a home? Can you own a car?
5. Does Tuscon have social assistance programs for seniors in addition to the state or federal programs?
6. Do social workers help arrange for special needs of the elderly in Tuscon? (Home health care aides, home medical calls from doctors, nurses, physical therapists, etc.)
7. Is there anything like Mobile Physicians, a company that sends doctors and nurses to the homes of the elderly? They also arrange X rays, sound scans, blood testing...
8. Are there programs for seniors that get them out of the house? Sometimes these are arranged by churches, social workers, universities, or hospitals that pick up the elderly, take them out somewhere, and then bring them home.
9. What is the cost of cremation in Tuscon or the lowest cost for a funeral?
10. Are there day trips arranged by travel agents or others for the elderly? A day trip to an Indian reservation, a nearby state park, or something interesting is a great way to keep seniors active?
11. Are there any seniors in Tuscon's elected government? Advocates???

I am currently in Florida but am seriously thinking of leaving the state for someplace better. Home insurance has doubled in the past two years as has my auto insurance here.
Also, the hurricanes are no joke. I have had two close calls in the last six years. And emergency shelters are not good for the elderly. The toilets are too far away inside the facilities, the beds are too low to the floor, there is no seating other than the beds, and they do not have food or drink in the facilities. One hurricane can wipe you out financially.
The price of living in Florida is going through the roof.
In comparison to Arizona the heat is just as unbearable being around 95-100 degrees almost everyday from May through late September. And with 98% humidity. So, I am now used to being indoors. But Arizona has something different. :)
One last question: Are there any outdoor movie theaters in Tuscon? I don't mean drive ins. In Greece, they have movie houses that have no roof. You go in through a front door and lobby and the into a courtyard with no roof. In the courtyard there is seating and the movie screen is full size. Some theaters show old classic films and others show current new release...

Thanks again for the view and comment! We don’t have any outdoor movie theaters in Tucson that I am aware of. We used to have a drive-in theater but not anymore. Everything is indoors, although I know of communities that do big group movies on the lawn or in parks.
