Juice WRLD can be corny and repetitive at times but when he's on point, my god is he point. When he nails hooks, melodies, throws in some clever lyrics with amazing flows, beats and emotion he really seems like a great culmination of all the hip hops trends over the last 5 years. He's legitimately versatile.

Personally, I love his emotion and how much he differs from usual trap rap / emo rap atm and his vocal range is really nice to hear, even when it's crackly, that's some of the appeal imo. i look forward to seeing him grow. he's so damn young that i hope he has a long and good career. very excited to hear what he comes up with next. i gave this an 8/10 in my review. :)
It's strange. I always seem to find myself really enjoying albums Anthony gives a 6 or 7. I enjoy the 10s and 9s, but I just like them. The albums I LOVE, like this one, hell or high water, 1000 gecs, all have middling scores.
Honestly, I agree that the album could go without a few songs, and coming into this I knew you wouldn't like it but I luv you so I did, this album really is just an absolute treat for his core fanbase and it's definitely going to pop out even more in the summer. I absolutely love how dynamic his vocals are and doesn't seem to be carried by his vocal effects on songs like Ring Ring and Feeling. Just the subtle changes in his vocals just add how damn cool this album concept's "Death Race" really seems to epitomize the album. Who Shot Cupid, Feeling, The Bees Knees, and quite a few others rank up there with some of my personal favorites YOUDONTLOVEME and Cali Girl. I was worried coming into this album with poppy lowpoints like Hear Me Calling and the 22 song long tracklist, it seems that his music now really is just a more refined cut, it still feels like Juice WRLD.

I listend to the the album about two times I would give it a 7. It was a longer album but it wasnt long with skewed performance. It was a steady stream of quality. Honestly I hear and agree with your assessment of this album. But as a fan I love it when a artist sticks to same sounds and doesn't fully evolve there style to fast. This is perfect for a fan of juice but for a person who loves music and wants to see artists evolve I see that point of view too. Can’t even take melon seriously after you said Make Believe is the worst song on this album ... that guitar is sampled from a classic hip hop song “ Pharcyde” and the Juice lyrics are actually not corny and pretty deep on that track

Personally, I love his emotion and how much he differs from usual trap rap / emo rap atm and his vocal range is really nice to hear, even when it's crackly, that's some of the appeal imo. i look forward to seeing him grow. he's so damn young that i hope he has a long and good career. very excited to hear what he comes up with next. i gave this an 8/10 in my review. :)

It's strange. I always seem to find myself really enjoying albums Anthony gives a 6 or 7. I enjoy the 10s and 9s, but I just like them. The albums I LOVE, like this one, hell or high water, 1000 gecs, all have middling scores.

Honestly, I agree that the album could go without a few songs, and coming into this I knew you wouldn't like it but I luv you so I did, this album really is just an absolute treat for his core fanbase and it's definitely going to pop out even more in the summer. I absolutely love how dynamic his vocals are and doesn't seem to be carried by his vocal effects on songs like Ring Ring and Feeling. Just the subtle changes in his vocals just add how damn cool this album concept's "Death Race" really seems to epitomize the album. Who Shot Cupid, Feeling, The Bees Knees, and quite a few others rank up there with some of my personal favorites YOUDONTLOVEME and Cali Girl. I was worried coming into this album with poppy lowpoints like Hear Me Calling and the 22 song long tracklist, it seems that his music now really is just a more refined cut, it still feels like Juice WRLD.

0:40 it already the biggest thing in hip hop though; Lil peep, Juice Wrld, Trippie Redd, Scarlxrd, Lil uzi, Lil tracy, Suicideboys, Xxxtentacion, Bones, Zillakami, Yung lean, Ghostemane, and others have been dominating the last few years in hip hop and music in general.
99% of those artists are my favs honestly I find mainstream hip hop rappers are boring and rap about the same stuff you here on other songs

I listend to the the album about two times I would give it a 7. It was a longer album but it wasnt long with skewed performance. It was a steady stream of quality. I wish more rapper would take note of quality over quantity like KSD. Then again, when done right we get quality and quantity like TA1300.

Juice talks about his depression on surface level, which isn't bad, but definitely not as meaningful as someone analyzing something like generational trauma and how to deal with it. I don't think he's disrespecting juice either. Infact, he gave his music a chance and is giving his honest opinion about it instead of pretending it's all perfect, which I think is more fairness than disrespect

Honestly I hear and agree with your assessment of this album. But as a fan I love it when a artist sticks to same sounds and doesn't fully evolve there style to fast. This is perfect for a fan of juice but for a person who loves music and wants to see artists evolve I see that point of view too. All in all I hate it when I hear "a song" from an artist at random and love it. Then I find "that song" which turns out to be old and then I hear that same artist current music and it's completely different. Honestly a fan is in it for the artist journey. If they change or not.
