My travel kit (when I could go travel again) will be the Viltrox 13mm f/1.4 (for interiors, wide shots), the Sigma 18-50 (have the Kit Fuji too, love it, but in my tests the Sigma was a bit better both for stills an video), a Nocticron (the 35 or the 50) and the 55-200 (if it is not just city travel). Had a similar kit when I used m43, never felt the need for anything else. In fact, the Sigma is almost glued to my X-S20 - it is so versatile.
I use the Bellroy Camera Sling and the following fits comfortably: * OM5 * M.Zuiko 14-100mm F4 Pro / 14-45mm F4 Pro (either one attached to the body) * M.Zuiko 17mm F1.8 (for night time) * one extra batter * caps for body and lens * cleaning cloth * lens pen * slim powerbank + phone charging cable * mints * small comb If am carrying passport, credit cards, the pouch for them goes inside bag next to the camera body. I will probably replace the 17mm F1.8 with a Panasonic Leica 9mm F1.7 prime since I prefer wide over zoom.
I love that loop at the top of the camera bag to close it - what a great idea. And I'm with you on paring down the camera gear that I travel with. I got tired of taking it all "just in case" and only ending up using a fraction of it. And in the end, taking fewer photos because of analysis paralysis. I've settled on my XT5 with the 16-80 lens, but the Ricoh camera looks so interesting.
Hey Jay, just stumbled across your channel and really enjoyed this video. This has inspired me to consider doing a camera bag walkthrough myself! Cheers!
do a video on the microphone! or your vlogging gear/setup. I have the 23mm for the xs20 but it can get a little too close. would love to see your setup! by vlogging I mean vlogging on the go / outside / travel
@@Jay_Ducker yeah, but still tax is a massive problem and a burden for most people. Like example just for 30mm f1.4 sigma here it’s equivalent like 400 dollars depending on official store or not 😂
Happy new year 🎉. Is the OIS of the 18-55 really a bonus? As the x-s20 already has IBIS? Can you recognize a more stabilized video when using this? I have the sigma 18-50 but it has no OIS. I am using it with my X-H2S.
Well, this bag wouldn't be an option for me. You open it, and the content is exposed to the elements. Pickpockets have easy access to inside the bag, nothing stand in way for their grubby fingers. This kind of design faults should be something from the past. I believe, the (my) Hadley Small camera bag is the same size, but a better protection for the gear. But I'm happy if you're happy with your bag. Take care and keep on rolling.
That’s fair - each to their own. I suppose it’s important to note where one might be filming or taking photographs whether it be busy or quiet place. I like how quickly I can get to my gear with this bag. Just be careful of your surroundings I’d say
Tell me what you're bringing this year!

Yes! Thank you! That’s a good setup and definitely check out that might Ricoh 👍
Excellent video and showcase, thanks. Do you know if this sling fits inside the same petr backpack lineup?
Thank you. I can’t say for definite but I think I remember that it does. I’m sure there’s a video where he says it does but it was a while ago
I just ordered the McKinnon Sling I hope it fits everything I need
Good luck

Good man - get to work!
@@Jay_Ducker actually just filmed it! 😂 video should be live on my channel on Sunday! Cheers again!

Will give it some thought for sure
Nah you really got me with that lowepro backpack for a second
Thanks for the review
No problem 👍
I can buy a high end lens for the price of the bag in my country lol😅, but still a nice bag but not something on my radar since TAX were crazy here
It’s not cheap that’s for sure! I have seen there is a sale now on though

Happy New Year! Yeah I think when you combine these two things you get much more stabilised footage. The XH2s is with the kit lens is also great.
@@Jay_Ducker do you hear the OIS working when filming?
I will not buy anything with "Peter McKinnon" on it.......
Any particular reason why?
@@Jay_Ducker He is a sensationalist - not into that.
Same 100%
U gay, son
I will buy everything with "Peter McKinnon" on it.....🤌🏾

Yeah, the bags now open 😂
Buy Ona Bowery leather....then make another video and delete this one :)
Haha they’re nice - I’ve just seen. That might be a next years video. I’m a work in progress my friend
