I loved this album. Back when it came out,I bought it the day it came out without even having heard anything from it first. Been a B.S. fan since the beginning
I'll confess that I haven't really listened to much Sabbath in the post DIO years. But this song is very DIO'esque in it's composition. I can only imagine how much better it might have been if it were Ronnie James singing it. I'm not saying that Tony Martin is bad, but he lacks the melodic voice that DIO brought to the band. I still consider "Heaven And Hell" to be Black Sabbath's greatest work.
For all those who are complaining about him skipping the high notes, please note that on the Russia tour in 1989 Sabbath had TWO 90 minutes show PER DAY when this video was recorded, so he was saving his pipes. Check Devil And Daughter live 1989 in RUclips and you guys will get his full range. Cheers.
I think Tony Martin's a brilliant singer. It's funny that most singers can't reach the same high notes when performing live as they do in the studio. I can only guess that maybe it's because in the studio they get as many takes as they need.

Wow he was a young in this video
The greatest pretty-boy teen idol of the '80s, Tony Martin!!! Look at him swaying and a-fluttering his hands like he's Rick Astley!
👍
how many songs he sang before this? It's normal situation.
His voice sounds ok in 1989 but sounds well shod in more recent videos least ozzy still hits high notes
@venenomusik and Ian Gillian

Holly shit, that part is it a PLAYBACK?
Wow... Wow... WOW! No, Tony was never diagnosed with throat cancer! Thats insane! He had a throat INFECTION in 1994 and that was it.
It depends. If the song is late in the setlist, it's probably just because he is tired.
he can only sing nice in studio... are way better Glenn Hughes, Ozzy, and Dio
Please, where is DIO?
He just can't do the "AT THE HEADLESS CROOOOOSS" part. He's awesome at studio. But live, Tony Martin is very different
I'm Sorry, but Tony Martin Was a Coward For Not Giving His High Notes Of This Awesome Song From 1989.
Sabbath sem ozzy não é sabbath
AT THE HEADLESS CROOOOooooOSS ....VERY BAD tonY
Uh.... pre-recorded vocals, huh?
mzavros just back vocals
Ronnie Dio is really no different in that regard either.
