Thank you so much for the video, just starting the vulpix pattern, and this video helps me a lot. Your pattern is great, easy to understand, even for us Australians. I have had to use DK/8ply yarn, as Aran/10ply isn’t very popular here, but so far all is going well.
lol I found this after trying to make a lion mane. (Did your Loaf cat pattern then added a big mane to it/ a floof to the tail I did it similarly, I just tied each individual yarn stran through some stitches where I wanted them doing double knots since I didnt really know what else to do. Then I brushed it out with a comb to get the fibers apart, im thinking of maybe ironing them later now lol felting it down is probably better/ safer. I was planning to glue my project a little around the knots
Hi Megan I love your videos and pattern. I have your Vulpix pattern and Im SO looking forward to do it. The only thing I don't know how to do is stitching together the front legs with the main body. Do you have a video u can recommend to learn that? Thanks a lot!!
Hi there! So sorry about that!!! I don't have a video really explaining it... but I am more than happy to explain in one of my twitch streams! I'll be live today and tomorrow on twitch at 1:30 pm eastern! :)
I'm considering doing this method for a Kirara pattern I'm gonna do. I've never done needle felting before, is this easy to take out if I mess up? If I do it correctly is it secure to the amigurumi or does it pull out easily?
Thanks so much! I don't mind at all! I use two Elgato Keylights. I can adjust the warmth and brightness really easily with them, but I think there are some other cheaper options out there too that do the same thing. For my product photography I use two softboxes and one main light!
@@FalseBubbles Awesome! Thanks so much for getting back to me, I've heard more than one person mention that brand so I'll definitely check it out! I live in an apartment with terrible lighting so I definitely need it!
that's so cool! I was wondering how people do that, but can't find any videos about it. THANK YOU VERY MUCH :> One question, can hair wax or glue be used to style hair? Does it work like a wig?
I actually got this idea from some furry designers that make tails. If you make a thick base braid with a bunch of strands of yarn you can latch Hook or use your crochet hook to secure the pieces of yarn onto the braid before brushing!!
This is a wonderful tutorial thank you for sharing. I was wondering are you selling/sharing pattern of Eevee I would love to make myself one. Thank you
sorry!!! I didn't see this! I don't think I will be sharing the eevee pattern just because I have moved on to other things since then. I may go back but no promises! If you are feeling ultra adventurous I would use the vulpix pattern for the body and make some adjustments to a circular head! Thin triangular ears and a paintbrush shaped tail (triangular start and then widen into a circle).
@@michaelsweet8719 that's ok!! Thanks for asking. I used my vulpix pattern and modified the head ears and tail! I never ended up finishing it as a pattern though 🥰
I love the shelving for your yarn!
This method would also be great to create hair. This was awesome
Definitely!!!
Thanks, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to brush them from bottom or top. I plan to make braids and even a wig with this. ❤

So glad you found it helpful!!! I'm always surprised when I hear that the Aran ply isn't common over there since its so common here!
Thanks for the tutorial! I loved the Vulpix, could you do a tutorial on how to knit it?

Awe!!! Thanks so much for finding me!!! Definitely plan on making more stuff soon!!!
So cool! It's so silky and shiny! Your video is so bright too. If you don't mind sharing, what lights do you use?

hmmm to be honest I haven't ever tried the "styling" part with products! I do know that some people use hairspray though!
Would you have any ideas on how to brush out yarn into something I could attach to a rocking horse? For a mane and tail :)

How do you get it to stay in and not pull back out. 😩 I’m so doing it wrong.

@@FalseBubbles thank you for your reply ^^ I will try crocheting Vulpix first. I never made anything this big actually
Can you please do a video tutorial how to crochet Eve please
You can save all the fluff for stuffing so you won’t have to throw it all away
Very cool!
I would love to get your patterns for Vulpix and Eevee! Where do I get them??
Vulpix is on ravelry right now!
@@FalseBubbles thank you!!
Where did you get the evee pattern from? I would love to make this
Sorry for asking but this looks amazing haha and would love to make this

So cool
Woo! New video :)
What exactly does that needle do?
It pushes fibers into the piece with little barbs!
