As vending machine owner, that is a very valid concern about where to put the dollar bill. Customers might be confused by the new design without a visual cue.
I’ve been thinking about this setup and I suspect nyax doesn’t want to make it obvious the machine can take cash. Sure some people may intuitively understand the machine does accept cash, but what would it really cost nyax to make the screen show where the cash goes, or for that matter carry on the blinky arrow lights. Also, unrelated… nyax is missing an obvious barrier to making more card sales. There should be an option where a close cluster of vending machines can use a master unit to call out to the banking system. So that you only need one simm card and other nyax units near by process thru the master unit.
@@pikadroo A lot of all-in-one bezels create some confusion for the customer. The best solution might be for me to put a sticker next to the device to let people know it takes cash.
Just some thoughts, these EasiFit & Fushions ideallly are best assembled on a workbench - but as we normalyl fit the antenae externally here in Aust, it's a hassle assembling onsite - our fix was to fit a 25cm? antennae extension cable when assembling on workbench & then simply plug antennae in kit when fitted to VM.
I’d be more worried if someone is going to try to think the bill acceptor is a chip reader and jam cards into the bill acceptor possibly causing damage.
Can you please help me? I’m having issues with the bezel too. I need a bigger one, can you tell me which one I need? I have a royal 660 8 select and I can’t fit my Nayax adapter on it. Also really appreciate your videos, you really have helped me soooooo much. Thank you for everything
Also do you know if a conlux bill acceptor will work for the Nayax easy fit adapter. I need to change out the bill acceptor and I was hoping to go with the same company I use. They supply conlux products
The bezel for the Royal machines is hard to come by. I did manage to find a used one on ebay but there are none posted right now. You can do what I did and modify one of the bezels that has the yellow bill graphic on it and cut out the center. You might also try calling Royal parts and seeing if they have any available.800-321-8637 As for the easyfit adapter, it is designed to work with the mei 2000 series bill acceptors. Get yourself one of them because they are the most reliable ones anyway.@@of7028
Is your machine registering cash/coin transaction with the nayax? I'm assuming you have a newer control board. I have an 1998 G3 with the older control board with the red prgm button and Royal told me I have to upgrade to the latest control board to get cash/coin transaction to show up on the nayax app/desktop.
I have a couple G3s with the older board with the red button and they do report cash sales to Nayax. I did have an older board with the red button that didn't report cash sales...so I guess it all depends on how old your old board is.
Hey Bill- I just bought an old Seaga vending machine with the mechanical discs. Any idea where I can find the metal quarter discs for it? There's a guy on eBay selling them for $25 bucks, but considering how many I need, that's an expensive endeavor.
Honestly, you should probably sell off this machine and cut your loses. They are hard to find parts for and are not very reliable. Stick with American made machines from companies such as usi, crane, ap, royal, dixie narco, vendo.
I have a g3 12 selection royal , I bought a mars bill acceptor series 2000. I connected but it indicates that it’s disconnected from the coin mech. I connected everything properly. Any idea of how to fix ?
I assume you got an MDB bill acceptor with the white 6 pin connector? Did you connect everything with the power turned off? Is the BA lighting up? Did you close the door of the machine and try to insert a bill? What coin changer do you have in there? Does that work normally?
I am no expert on that subject, but here is a document you can download which covers many of the regulations in regards to vending. vendiscuss.net/files/file/124-ada-rules-for-vending/

Been lurking for a while. This is the solution I have been hoping for for CC readers.
Very cool !!!!! I was not aware that these were available. This could be a great solution to several of my machines !!!!!

I already got some cash sales today...so some people are figuring it out. I may still put some type of sticker on the machine.

Another great video Bill. I’m excited about this one!!! I totally need this!!!
Excellent detailed video! Great Job! Thanks for taking the time to put together a very helpful vid!😃

I have not tried it, but according to Nayax it does. Contact your Nayax sales rep with your model number to be sure.

Exactly how much did you pay for the Easy Fit? Did you purchase this through a sales rep or can I purchase this straight from Nayax?
The easifit is a $30 bracket that will work with any vpostouch reader. I ordered it direct from Nayax through my rep.

I’m new to vending. How do you guy clean the cash acceptor or don’t you. Thanks
I really don't take apart my cash acceptors. If I do, I just wipe them down with a damp microfiber cloth.

where do you get it?
contact your nayax sales rep.
I like your video I'm interested on the bracket will be nice if you can send me the part # to order one. Thanks
It's called the easifit bracket. Just call Nayax...they'll know what it is.
vending has changed since i got out in 2015
Price on the modification?
Approximately $360 for the VPOS touch, $35 for the EasiFit bracket...and $21 if you purchase a proper bezel.....so around $400.
Not sure how Nayax can call these "EasiFit"? Using a Nayax Fushion bezel on a PTI Apex note acceptor is a lot simpler for us.
Here in the states mei/cpi validators are the norm.
