This video proves how real you are. Which is why I been subscribed for a minute. To be transparent about mistakes and pitfalls sets you apart from most bro. I'm actually beginning my vending machine career and I'm being told that my machines are not compatible with card readers
Thank you so much 🙏🏽😌 and some machines may be worth updating the motherboard to take card readers. But I think I’m going to sell all of my machines that don’t take it. I’d rather not bother with them anymore honestly 😅
For sheet metal, you can get a step drill that looks like a cone or pyramid that starts drilling a small hole and gets bigger in stages. Super easy to use.
I recently discovered those after making this video. 😄
I made the same mistake bought a card reader n realized none of my machines were compatible. I contacted nayax n told them I was going to return it and they sent me your video💯 now I can't wait to get this thang installed!
Did they really do that?? Nobody tells me nothing 🤣 Bless their hearts 😌
@@pristinevending yes they did. You're doing something right brotha!
What's What's actual name of the adaptor?
It's great that you're out there handling what you can and learning to overcome issues on machines. That experience will be invaluable in the coming years. Learning to fix everything on them would save you a lot of money when the time comes.
Man, I wish I could say that was an easy lesson for me to learn. It took a few bumps on the head and I’m still learning. But experience is the best teacher. 😄 Thank you
Invest in a step drill bit. One bit for a wide range of sizes. Has come in very handy. I drilled an extra hole for the antenna as well.
Such a great tip. 💯
This is exactly what we used and it made pretty quick work of that huge middle hole
I’m so glad i came across your video! this whole time I’ve been wondering how in the hell was I gonna plug up my vending machine from inside of the storage unit it currently at! you just put me on game hopefully it works for mines!
Glad to help 😄 Just fyi, do not plug a machine up with the ac compressor still connected (drink machines). That's a great way to blow a fuse.
This is amazing information although you left off the main detail where is the link for the ADAPTER you purchased?
Props on the transparency for that mistake. Its easy to overlook things especially when you're new.
Keep up the good work.
Transparency is the best way show the ups and downs of this business 😌 thank you for tuning in 😄
Brother, I been watching your videos for a while, thank you for your realness & transparency… a lot of other vloggers only show you results or how to start up… happy hustle
Thank you 🙏🏽
and thanks for staying locked in with me. 😌
you know, i clicked on this on a whim but man i wish pc build channels were as real as you, this is very much an equivalent to many mistakes i've made when upgrading my pc, and not one channel would suggest what to do, which is frustrating because how am I supoosed to learn when they just expect you to already know, if I knew I wouldnt be watching a tutorial, I dont think ill be owning a vending machine anytime soon but I was really interested the whole time despite that. Great Video!
I just want to say thank you for this video. My brother and I are making changes and vending machines are our first step to making passive income. I wasn't sure on the difficulty for installing a card reader and you made it very easy to understand. So thank you.
really needed this video. thank you brother for your honesty and realness acknowledging your mistakes and providing info to correct them as well. Me being a new vending owner this was needed
Thank you 🙏🏽
@@pristinevending no problem 🙏🏽
This video was pretty easy learning how to install my machines
You inspire me so much to do this bro 💪💪
That’s so awesome, thank you so much for letting me know that. It’s a fun hustle for sure
Some advice on drill bits. They are not all created equal lol. Cheaper made ones tend to get dull much faster. My preference was titanium coated ones for metal. If you don't know there are specific bits for metal and wood. I worked in an office industrial plant for 27 years and did a lot of work on machinery before they finally added 3rd shift maintenance person.
You are 100% correct about that. I'm pretty handy with my tools also from years of experience. But my drill bit game can use some improving. 😄
You will probably have to get an mdb bill validator AND mdb coin mech for this to work. Most soda/vending machines will only use one protocol at a time. So you can use either MDB or you can use the 9pin pulse stuff but not both at the same time.
That what I’m thinking is going on with my 9 prong. I followed his instructions buying the 6 prong adapter but my older machine won’t configure
Don't know if you've found out since this video..the cardboard guide that comes with the Vpos does seem like the holes a bit off..that's because it was backwards. Next time your installing one, flip the cardboard so you can't see the writing (drill sizes etc) this way it lines up perfectly to both the aerial cable and your yellow comms cable. Both cables with fit through the one big hole. Been in the vending trade in Scotland for over 20 years, great industry and every day is different. Although mostly raining..lol
Thank you so much for that tip. I knew something couldn’t be right. 😅 I will definitely do that going forward.
And that is some accomplishment, 20+ years. That’s what I call motivation. I guess it’s no point in me asking you if you enjoy it. 😄
I wish you the best. 😌
Drill a smaller pilot hole then use the bigger bit. It'll make it much easier.
I’ve learned this the hard way 😅
Another video lesss gooo
Less gooo! Happy Hustles 💸😄
I support the real so you got yourself a new sub my friend. Keep grinding Never stop!
Thank you for locking in 🙏🏽😌
Great work! I was wondering how you find and contact new locations? Also, do you pay them a fee for letting you putting the vending machines there? Thanks man! Keep it up!
Thank you 🙏🏽 and it’s so many ways to get a location. I’ll post some videos about this soon. And I don’t pay commission to my locations. 😌
Yeah I would like to know the same thing. How to establish a new location and what it takes
Really enjoy the vending videos.. keep up the great work. I really want to get into doing my own vending machine business as well... I would recommend a unibit for the bigger hole on the card reader.
You know I discovered the unibit right after making this video. 😅 Thank you for the love. 🙏🏽 Don't be a stranger.
Great to watch your videos Pristine! -Malaysia
Malaysia, Wow Super Awesome! Thank you Adam. 🙏🏽 You just gave me so much motivation. 😄
Thanks so much for this video and I love your spirit! So positive !!!
Thank you so much 😊
A really solid install video-with all the bumps and bruises we're likely to come across. Can you tell us (me) more about the connector you bought that made it all possible? I know you said you bought it on ebay--but it really saved the install, right? More info on that would be appreciated!
Thank you 😄 I’ll have to get back with you when I can find the information on that harness. It did save the day. 😁
Love the vid!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Thank you for your efforts and much success to you! Happy Hustles🙏🥰🙏
Thank you so much. Happy Hustles 🙏🏽😌
Do a video on setting up the Nayax account. Bc they talking about two weeks to setup my account, and this is my 1st card reader so I been looking for a video to make sure I’m doing everything right
That’s a great suggestion, I’ll definitely look into doing that. So they took about 3 weeks for my process to complete and in the mean time I just verified with them that nothing else was needed from me.
@@pristinevending thank you bro for the info. I was hoping I did do nothing wrong it been about 6 now days, so I guess it take time thanks again

I have an older machine that wasn't card compatible. However my mainboard destroyed itself so I upgraded the mainboard to a Inone board that made it compatible with new bill/coin accepters as well as card readers.
That's usually what you have to do. Did you upgrade the board yourself?
Found you on Instagram reels, keep being awesome man love your stuff.
Thank you so much and thank you for taking the time to comment. 🙏🏽😌
Hey man what was the adapter piece that you bought called? My vending machine is a 9 prong too and needs to be a 6
Worked great for my craft show
How do i buy that adapter for- non card compatible vending machines sir?
Thank you for the instruction video! I am a newbie starting out was about to pay at least $100 per Nayax install lol... Where did you get the adaptor cord for the Multi Drop Bus?
I would also like to know this. Great video btw I was very confused for a while on how to install a reader
Did anyone find out about the adapter ?

Welcome to The Hustle Family 😄 Thank you for locking in 🙏🏽 And I actually don’t pay commission for my locations.
@@pristinevending does this mean they just let you set up for free?
How do you buy your machines? Refurbished, new or used? How much does it usually cost?
I buy used and refurbished. I’ve actually never had a brand new vending machine. No need. And you can find a decent machine for around $7 or $800 in my area.

How do you program it to take card and when it takes the payment the machine knows the payment is taken
You just plug the card reader in and that’s it. No programming required, long as you have a card compatible vending machine.
did this actually work. i know that sometimes even if you get power to the card reader not all boards are compatible.
That is a great question. I sold the machine before I had a chance to test it out. I'm wondering the something now.
Can you add a card reader to any vending machine or is it a certain machine?
I see a lot people asking whats the name of the adapter for the card reader can you please tell us whats the name.
Thank you for sharing this.
Did you use the Dex cable on the card reader or is it not needed?
Thank you
it wasn't needed on this machine
I just subscribed.
Welcome to The Hustle Family 😁💸
I bought a vending machine with a card reader. Should I replace it? The previous owner said ia working
Where did you order the adapter cable from I need one asap please. Thanks
I'll have to find it again. I'd start by googling "multi drop bus cable".
So this machine we don’t need upgrade the board just get adapter????
How do you connect your bank account to the card reader?
You work with the Nayax team to get everything set up.
Hi, thanks for the video. What was the adapter cable called you us to buy ?
Do you know if that will work on my AP 113 vending machine? I’m new to this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What was the name of the piece that you stuck in the MDB port for machines with nine pins?
I’ll have to find that for you.
@@pristinevending Okay, cool, thanks.
Do you have a link for where you got the chord?
bud did this actually work for after testing?
It did while it was in my storage unit. I sold this machine before I had a chance to place it.
Where did you get the compatible cords from? What website?
I'll be making a video on this very soon.
what vending machine you using
Where does the antenna get mounted?
The antenna is magnetic. So I usually stick it to the top, of the INSIDE, of the machine. I don’t stick them outside of the machine, not just to avoid vandalism but because ppl tend to set things on top of the machines. Like it’s a shelf.🤦🏽♂️ And that can knock the antenna over also.
@@pristinevending gotcha thank you for your reply.
Do you need a new board to upgrade in order to be compatible with the card reader ?
more than likely
Is this machine an automatic product?
I think this is an LP snack machine

where did you get the adapter cable from and whats it called?
Can't remember for this video but on average I spend around $300 to fill them all.
I have a crane 158 I had to upgrade to be mdb compatible. I used the adapter cord as you instructed it I’m getting a V00 error on the Nayax reader which means the reader can’t communicate with the VMC. Did you have this issue? And if so how did you resolve it?
What the name of the cord I’m having the same issue
How do we get started? Is there a vending machine company?

What does mdb level 1 or 3 mean
In what context? I can’t say that I’m too familiar with that.
