This one's my favourite of the villain songs. It's just so well-done, and it manages to not completely betray who Moana is as a person. Because she still cares. She still cares about her people, and her island - she's just not willing to be a pawn in everyone's games anymore, and if that means sacrificing the island, she'll do it. Someone on the original video also pointed out that putting the Heart on top of the stack of stones is very multi-layered. On the one hand, she's saying she's happy for this to be her legacy. On the other, it's almost hopeful that someday, someone else might stumble across the ruins of her home, find it, and make the choice that she couldn't. Someone will return the Heart - it just won't be her.

If you think about it with her grandma dieing no one would of told her to find Maui to start with she would of just had to find her way there
