This is scary. Rich people pay politicians to make sure they get access to taxpayer funds first when banks shutter or they're in jeopardy of losing all their money. I feel bad for the lowest paid workers that may be affected, but not CEO's. A lot of them have created this abusive corporate pay structure where they are paid 300 to 400 times above the salary of entry level workers. Most add very little value. They posture and perform with speeches, meetings, and excessive travel to provide the appearance of working hard.

The truth is that everybody wants to be financially independent and live a better life. With savvy investing, an inexpensive lifestyle, and diligent budgeting, this is not difficult to do. I'm glad I realized early on that achieving financial freedom requires hard work.

Investment is a fabulous way to save money for the future as well as a way to generate passive income. Those who make poor mistakes early in life regret them later in life. But, if done alone, investing may be challenging and risky.
For this reason, I suggest consulting experts for advice (financial advisors).
The difficulty lies in effectively employing it, not just watching videos and reading investing books.

NO ONE. they claimed they had to keep the country going so they seized the money of peoples accounts for the greater good of the nation. while all this went down, USA watched with great interest to see how it all played out. now its happening here. this bank of america business was only a test to see how the people would react. they are taking notes and testing the waters.

@@SipLeila you do realize the people called bank of america and the phones were NOT answered and they said that the money would be returned sometime in february on the website and notes on the door. we are sorry but that's the best we can do. luckily they got it all resolved, but not because the people who had money in the bank pressured them. they returned the money because they got the answers they needed to see how the public would react. would there be mutiny or people at the banks with guns? they gathered intel. so if and when they try this again, they will be ready for the public backlash. did you know if you deposit a million dollars in the bank today, you can NOT go back tomorrow and get that million back out. you will get 250k back and they will call you when the rest of the money gets back into that branch. does NOT matter you deposited it a day before. By law they only have to give you a small portion back at the time you ask for it. people don't know and don't ask questions. but this is what happens.

The bank sent to my a card....which was actuvated n used it before me receiving the card....they didnt recognized some of them charges because were in a gas station....but they dont tell me how and when the card was activated because I told them..."I do have the envelope with the card right here in my hand but when went to my app to activatebthe card, card was already used!"
...meaning they sent one card to me n a copy for the employeed who used it....

This is why I closed my BofA account. They were stealing $20/mo from me and if I had not caught it they probably would steal more and more from me.
They have attempted to steal homes from homeowners that have paid off their homes too!

Nope I am paying regularly now and It is good thing I got out of bank of America. They change policy when I was a graduate (Associate). Family wanted to get out of Richmond and my brother had a place in Boston. Bank of America changed its policies and I lost a couple of hundreds.

My Bank Of America experience is horrible. They totally screwed up the transaction record on my home equity loan and told me I owe them $8000 when in fact I had a balance of $200. Took a year and a half and numerous complaints to the fed to get it corrected. Their systems continually rip people off.

Surprised that BofA's still in business after that memo leaked. Also, the DoD stopped using them as well for GTC's/GPC's back in 2009. They clearly didn't need the government contract or the money. This bank is the equivalent of the UAC we see in those DOOM games.
