Ben shows us how to set a snare in the corner of a fence! Check us out on Instagram and Facebook too! Instagram: yooying.com/opencountryhunter Facebook : / opencountryhunter
Only dogs out in this area are coyotes and yes Ben knows how to use a leg hold trap. Here is the link to the video here: ruclips.net/video/GjSPt006Nmo/видео.html
Using a long snare at or on a barb wire fence without the use of a slide wire to remove the animal from the capture site is a poor choice and that's putting it lightly ! An animal will either wrap up in the fence and cut itself all to pieces and/or jump over the fence and hang itself, neither of which are a good choice. It's a 'black eye' for those of us who know how to snare ethically and know there are far better choices to be had in the capture of that animal, regardless, if you're using a kill spring or not. When I see someone do this, it tells me one thing...they've not been properly trained. The fact that they are teaching others to follow suit, is appalling !
Angela Joyce thank you for your comments. We are on the same team, let’s not try to knock each other down. It’s kind of like hunting, people hunt differently, some hunt over bait some don’t. Some hunt with a rifle and some hunt with a bow, some hunters trap and others are against it. Just because someone does it differently than you or anyone else doesn’t make them wrong, unethical, or poorly trained. I would encourage you to watch Ben in our other trapping videos. He has a lot to offer. Thank you,
People like you trashing other trappers do more damage than anything in this video. Your elitist attitude is enough to give any community a black eye. Smdh
great video....where ya get that wire?
I truly enjoyed this video keep it up
Thank you!
How do you build the snares with the kill spring
Will T not sure, I don’t live near Ben anymore. I’m sure there are other RUclips vids on the topic. Sorry
nice vid thank you
i boil my snares with some baking soda will take the shine off your wire it works very well for me
still cant figure out that little plastic piece that hold snare and rod in ground
So what's the purpose of the stake? That's just 1 more item to carry.
I thought that too especially on a fence but maybe he’s demonstrating the support use iono
Did you catch any thigh
Thad Scott yes sir he did.
make dam sure you close that gate if you dont that is why we trouble doing outdoor activities no one wants us around
Linda Bingham I was opening the gate. Hope you enjoy the video
Don’t they choke to death. Would you like to be choked?
It just holds them like a mother holding a baby.
Mark Rooster no, it strangles them
@osama people with a heart care.
How many dogs have you killed with those snare's? They should be outlawed. You don't know how to use leg hold traps?

I run a huge snare line it's literally 3 states and never killed anyone's dog.
