    • @KatieLHall-fy1hw
      @KatieLHall-fy1hw 2 года назад +7

      It’s the *trauma* factor, and any past sins these days can either destroy or show you are innocent. Real life isn’t like that. She is 100% a great actress and she likely accidentally killed her kid and her parents helped cover it (or her dad did). Unsure why her family continues to cover for her, but sometimes family ties can have you do some things that just don’t make sense

      @A.Girl.Has.No.Name. 2 года назад +13

      I believe her to be responsible as well, but having watched the trial, I also understand why the jury came back with a not guilty verdict. All of the evidence pointed only back to the home, which Casey, Caylee, and both grandparents shared. Any evidence that pointed to Casey, also pointed to George and Cindy, as well. There was no direct evidence that put Caylee's remains in Casey's car, despite the odor of decomp being identified by Cindy Anthony, (an RN w/experience of said odor) George Anthony, (a former sheriff deputy, also familiar with the odor) and multiple LE officers that responded to the Anthony home the first night. (& a cadaver dog hit on the trunk the next day) The stain in the trunk that looked to be that of a very small child in the fetal position, was never ID'd as biological evidence, nor was the alleged adipocere (grave wax) found in the garbage bag in the trunk, ID'd definitively as biological in nature, nor connected via DNA or other method, to Caylee Anthony. Had any connection between Caylee's remains and the car been established, THAT I believe, would've been enough to put Casey in the crosshairs, as she was the only family member with access to that car AFTER Caylee was last seen by her grandparents, and before the day she was reported missing... which was the same day George and Cindy picked the car up at the impound lot.
      Don't even get me STARTED on Dr Vass' testimony, or Cindy's subsequent claim to have sprayed an "entire bottle of Febreze" in the trunk to mess with the evid... I mean, to get rid of the smell in the garage!! 😠

    • @mandykimmav
      @mandykimmav 2 года назад +15

      @@A.Girl.Has.No.Name. I hate saying it, but objectively I have to agree. When we are talking about a jury deciding the verdict for a death penalty case, that is quite a burden on their shoulders, so it's reasonable they may want more conclusive evidence that supports intent. It was possible to get a conviction, but the prosecution took a bit of a risk with the degree of the crime they decided to pursue given the evidence they had.
      Do I think she is responsible? Absolutely. Can I say without a reasonable doubt that it was a premeditated event? Unfortunately not. Casey is a terrible person. That is not even debatable, but it is possible the death was an accident as a result of neglect.
      Either way, she is accountable and it's maddening she will never have to own it.

I walked around my neighborhood at least a dozen times in a hundred and ten degree weather, every person I saw along the way I gave a description of him and told them to please keep an eye out. I called all of my friends and cried to them about how my baby was missing, crying about how I thought I'd never see him again. I even walked around with a tupperware full of his litter cause the lady who feeds the stray cats around my neighborhood said it was a good lure. Well, my cat turned up not even twenty four hours later. I did more in half a day to search for my cat then Casey Anthony did in a month to search for her daughter.

George has consistently changed his narrative and Casey's lies were extreme and baffling, but lies and inconsistencies reveal something and conceal something else. In this case, you cannot be certain of what the lies reveal because there is not enough evidence to say. What evidence are you talking about besides: she lied for 31 days? Casey Anthony might now be telling the truth about her father, what she did actually tracks with someone who has severe trauma, both in her response to the initial situation and her timing in telling her side of the story. George might be telling the truth that he doesn't know but he believes Casey does, overall though, George is actually a lot more inconsistent then Casey, Casey's lies aren't inconsistent, she was a known liar, but just because she lies doesnt mean she knows what happened.

    I *THINK* I remember….
    This birthed that whole plot/scenario in her head. How she tells her friend that she *thinks* she remembers, but now suddenly has all of these vivid memories of her father and brother abusing her..
    No. It doesn’t work like that.

      @@sofapop653 I know that memories can be repressed, but in her case? Highly doubtful.
      Also, if she were getting abused repeatedly between the ages of 8-16 by two different people, that’s a lot harder to repress.
      Now if she were to say that she uncovered memories from below the age of 8 of being abused by one single person- there might be more believability there. But by two people until the age of 16? No. Especially when you consider that Casey was 22 years old when she made these claims. So in a span of 6 years she somehow repressed 8 years of sexual trauma? No.
      All she is doing is creating a narrative to further victimize herself. As I said before, she is a narcissist. She will do anything to twist the narration and bring the attention back to herself, that's all she cares about. She doesn't have empathy, human understanding nor any affection. Yes, there are tears and anger and outrage, but there is also tenderness. A moment of sweet reminiscence about their precious baby and the event of the photo. And there’s usually a brief flash of a suspension of time, where the memory is so present it’s like they can smell or feel their baby and often they will speak in present tense about them. And the anger that boils up and over is towards the person who killed their child and the members of criminal justice who failed their investigation and prosecution. There’s almost never this “I don’t want to do this because it hurts me” kind of anger. She’s such a monster.

When I was done with the 3 episodes, my mom, who was in the other room, said, "So, she's a lying [c-word], is what I'm getting?" because that's all I was yelling the whole time. I don't discount that some bad things are possible, even probable, from her childhood, but I do think she's exacerbating the events for sympathy. Callous as that sounds to survivors, she's a unique case because I truly believe she is a sociopath in a clinical sense, not just throwing that word around. She is not capable of sympathy or emotion for anyone but herself. She is not a good person.

      I think the duct tape was put on her after her death, too make it look like someone had kidnapped her. @@tareginda

      I've suspected, pretty much from the beginning, that Caylee was likely drugged to make her sleep. Casey wanted to go out and didn't have a babysitter, so she drugged her, (and it probably wasn't the first time). Later, she found her not breathing, because she gave her too much, and she panicked.

    Caylee was almost 3. She could talk pretty well. Soon she’d be able to tell George and Cindy that there was no Zanny and be able to tell them where she’d been. Casey couldn’t risk that.

      Casey never left the house alive, there was no trip, there was no nanny ever. Her parents took care of her while she pretended to go to work.

      I have a feeling she already was saying things that made George suspicious. I believe he even mentioned he was kinda skeptical. But then again, anything Casey said was probably sketch anyways.

    I don’t think Cindy’s 911 call will ever not trigger me. This case was the second video of Stephanie I ever watched and with how much I watched and podcasts and read on the case she STILL taught me something with her deep dive and I’ve been watching ever since.

    The "oh"... "hmm"... "would you trust her with your child?" "WOULD YOU TRUST HER WITH YOUR CHILD?!" Had me crying. Ngl I would watch a 3 part series of you commentating her series😂😂

    One thing that most people forget, is that Casey sold Caylee’s pictures BEFORE she was determined to be dead. Casey sold her child’s photographs while she was still MISSING. That was long before the murder charges were brought. If you truly think your child is still alive and coming home, you aren’t going to sell photographs to pay your legal fees. Casey was telling us all along what she knew. Casey knew her daughter wasn’t missing, but was actually dead.

      They’re copyright claiming & blocking every video that shows clips. That’s why Stephanie had to film her computer screen with her phone
