Data acquisition - Capturing Drone Images to Create a 3D Model

Best practices for capturing images with your drone in order to create a 3D model from scratch. These principles apply to all drones and flying apps. We're using a DJI Phantom 4 with the DJI Go app in the Point of Interest (POI) flight mode.

Great video guys! is the Mavic Pro as good as the Phantom 4 for a use case just like the one in this video? does it worth the extra weight, volume and price of using the Phantom?

Hi Michael! Thanks for the compliment! The Mavic Pro is great if you're going for portability. Both the Mavic and Phantom take excellent high-res geotagged images, so both are sufficient.

The DJI app has since updated so the selection process for the POI has since changed - update your video?
