RUclips is hard seriously. I have been following trends but it doesn’t seem to work when I do it. But it works for others. I create content based on other videos that did well on my channel and it still doesn’t do well. I’m frustrated at this point. All my other RUclipsr friends are growing but me.
I want to quit at this point 😥.
Don't quit! Just take a break and look at your analytics and see what type of content does best. Also, make your thumbnails vibrant and eye-catching, you're videos are so well done! - So it's probably the thumbnails.

the issue i find with most youtube advice is that it never really covers if you make more original content. i don't care to make videos that's focused on trends, i find it uninteresting and i feel forced to make that content, i just want to make something original and creative. so what should someone like i do, to get views then? especially since i just don't have the money to advertise my stuff, so advertising is out of the question. i've tried posting on other social media to get views, but not many people respond to art i've noticed. seems others artists [even amazing ones] struggle as much as me, no matter what platform they use.

I'm learning it's very important to find the balance between doing videos you want to do regardless of algorithm but being open to topics and ideas that can boost you in algorithm.
