Chucked on the GFB response for my foz aswell found it stalling the car due to the valve being open on idle also I do get backfires the more its open. just running 50/50 and pops happen rarely maybe on a hard pull. Defiantly mess around with the spring to see how your car responds to the BOV.
mine is really sensitive on my SH, i have the same thing where if you put too much atmosphere it will backfire super loud, I just played with it until the backfiring stopped, just a little crack of atmosphere is perfect for me
Fully recirc no tune required. But these engines are so touchy if you want to last you better get a tune and just go MAP air density tune and fully open and catless.
were you getting some a back fire pops n bangs when boosting hard ? if so get someone to video the back at night .. your see some flames when yah get the pops n bangs
Really shouldn’t run a non recirculating valve on a Subaru unless you need to and are properly tuned for it. Sounds like poop and is bad for your engine. •___•

it'll muck around with your afr's a little bit but 50/50 should give your car enough room to adjust without a tune
made my car 50/50 and ran a bit richer which was fun until my cat died LMAO. now i can finally install my cobb downpipe
I hadn’t tightened the spring so that was causing the plug to stay open, should be able to dial it in properly tomorrow 👍🏼
