I got the base and my camshaft done I just couldn't find the actual light socket that's why I looked at this video what I did is I took the cam and a bigger sprocket from the crank to have a wide base to prevent tipping and I just filled the bottom whole of the crank sprocket with weld so that there isn't any welds visible and just grinder it flat yours looks really good though only thing that I would of done is just a little bit bigger base cause if that tips it's gonna do damage to what ever it falls on lol

I built one with a cam out of a 16 suburban and a rear brake rotor as the base
Machine shop can bore a hole through it for minimal cost
I've read it's actually quite expensive (and difficult) to drill or bore a hole through a camshaft. Takes special equipment and skill.
