But then as the weeks and months went on, I grew to love my son within me. And once he was BORN. OH MY goodness, it was unbelievable the love I had for him. That dad is nothing compared to my cousin’s husband. When they had the gender reveal for their first they did the balloon popping thing, and when the pink dust came out of the balloon he hung his head like he was headed for the gallows right along side Jack Sparrow. Now? He is totally a girl dad (despite having a boy now). He paints her nails, watches her favorite movies, does tea parties with her, let’s her dress him up in tiaras and does his makeup. He takes her on daddy daughter dates, takes her to Starbucks when she’s feeling down. Literally is so enamored with his kids. I hope this dad turns out like that.

But then as the weeks and months went on, I grew to love my son within me. And once he was BORN. OH MY goodness, it was unbelievable the love I had for him.

Now? He is totally a girl dad (despite having a boy now). He paints her nails, watches her favorite movies, does tea parties with her, let’s her dress him up in tiaras and does his makeup.
