Searle Pass was a high for me... beautiful...and I was finally gaining solid confidence. The waterfall.... sure wish it had been near the coke ovens, where I was getting so hot. 🙂
I just did 3 days on trail on this very segment. It took me 2.5 days to do it because I came from sea level and had altitude issues. I camped right at treeline on day 1 at 11,700 feet. It was the most peaceful sleep I've ever had. I LOVED Segment 8!!
You are a delight to watch
Awe, thank you!
Love.
20 miles a day makes the trail go fast !!
Thanks for the videos. Great wilderness.
Glad you enjoyed it!

I agree, it was absolutely beautiful up at Searle Pass! I think my favorite morning on trail.

@@Letherroam it’s incredibly beautiful, isn’t it! So glad you had a wonderful time!
Those concrete structures were ammo bunkers at Camp Hale.
We were wondering if that is what they were but felt like maybe ammo needed to be separated more. Thanks for the info!
