- It's that time of year. What time of year, you ask? Nightmare Before Christmas time. The Nightmare Before Christmas has captured the imagination of generations since it came out in 1993, and Danny Elfman's legendary voicing of the Pumpkin King made the character a truly beloved one. My absolute favorite song from the movie, Jack's Lament, showcase's Elfman's incredibly expressive singing and has always been one of my favorite songs to sing. So in celebration of the fall holiday season, I thought I'd do a proper cover of it. I know covers aren't really what we do on this channel, but hey... they're a nice treat every once in a while. I hope you enjoy!
