E22 is quite a baby! So happy he is getting enough food. I know M15 needs a rest but I am not on a hurry for them to fledge. This is the last of Harriet’s legacy or family. and no other female can replace her. I wish they had banded these babies or identified them in some way. They could have been microchipped too like some parrots are. I think if E9 were coming back he would have been here by now. Isn’t he past 5 yrs.? Will M-15 continue to use this nest or let a new female build a new nest elsewhere? I hope M15 continues to stay and use this nest. I love him too and have developed a high love and respect for him. Losing him to a new nest would be very sad unless you could put another camera in it. I hope he will choose a female worthy of him. i know I am acting like a mother but really cares what happens to him.. I have already seen 2 things happen in other nests I follow. Romeo and Juliet were run off their nest and it stayed empty until Samson. their son, came back and claimed it. He chose Gabby as his mate in NE Fl. nest cam. and had babies with her. It just so happens that Gabby had bee Romeo’s mate for a while when Juliet was run off by intruders. She is quite a catch it seems- good at everything an eagle needs to survive and very nice. Samson also disappeared a few months ago. I adored him. Beautiful and a great provider and father. Gabby had a lot of suiters and has chosen V3. No eggs yet. Nest in DC arboretum- First Lady disappeared last year Mr. P kept nest also and raised one baby in this nest. This year his mate, Lotus built another nest with Mr.P the master nest builder. Egg just laid. Mr. O still comes back to original nest probably remembering his last life there with all his wonderful babies. He was an excellent dad like M15 and known for his kindness and nest building skills. Loved and took care of his babies. No camera in new nest but hoping they will add one later. People who work on property are keeping track and trying to get pictures of them flying around the nest site.
@Lois. M Epstein I believe ABE are protected under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife so it would up to them to band eaglets- I might be wrong.. .please ask @Lady Hawk
Lois--Thanks for some Nest History here i did not know as well as the Nat. Arboretum Nest in D.C. where i used to live. Thanks for the update on Lotus and Mr. P. And a lone hatch there in recent times as well.
Y ou Be'cha this little guy is a fighter. Hallelujah, he is learning to fend for himself. Yes, HE is smaller.. It maybe because he hasn't had as much food, but maybe also that E22 is a male and E21 a female. I don't know much about it, but I've read that in eagles, the Female is larger than the males. How and when will we know for sure? Keep your fingers crossed that little 22, has said "I ain't gonna take it any more." You go little guy and more power to you.
It did. It's hard to watch at time it happens--but Young Eagles (and PF chicks as well) seem to have the SPIRIT to thrive on Adversity from Siblings and / Intruders wanting to steal their rightful foodstuffs. If a younger E grows up(almost always do) and fledges under such circumstances, it's never a bad thing.
Highlight for me was when E22 finally swallowed the fish tail. 🤗☺😊 And the determination this young eaglet showed in making sure that he/she won't be hungry that night!!! 💖💖💖💖
❤Thanks a lot for the video!! Bravo E22! More and more I believe he is a amazing little boy and maybe E21 is a girl as my wild guess. E21 does grow much bigger not just because of the couple of days earlier. Hope and pray both grow to be strong eagles indeed! E22 is super street smart in human terms indeed. Pecking order does give way to strong fighting instincts in E22! He refuse to be victim of it indeed!❤
Aww E22 bet he/she is exhausted all that pulling and tearing. Huge milestone so happy. E22 Smallest eagle always has to work the hardest just to eat. Love E22s mantle! So happy to see a huge crop!
This comes to mind... If you're gonna play the game, boy You gotta learn to play it right. You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em Know when to walk away and know when to run. You got this E22! We love you 🦅♥
M 15 is certainly a Savy adult in the ways of Eagles and how to maintain a family in the face of extreme hardship---Loss of a Mate in Nesting Season--and frequently getting a 'what for ' from nearby nesting GHOs. Just a super Dad for his E's
Not for the first time, I feel like E22 will be the first to take to the sky and let the winds carry it off to its future. There's so much stress at this nest now that the one at the bottom of the pecking order will be no worse off for trying to find its own way in the world than if it stuck around and let itself be beaten up on by an aggressive sibling and an aggressive intruder.
So proud of 22, he learned how to use his foot to hold the food and feed himself. I’m so tired of seeing 21 take most of the food and little 22 being picked on by his sibling. I’m so happy to see a full crop on 22, way to go 22. ❤️
I was impressed by how large these eaglets are compared to their Dad now. Yes, E21 is still larger than E22 but I have a lot more confidence that E22 is going to do well.
LadyHawk Ty 4 the update...😁 Never underestimate the smaller or younger sibling. I'm sure both 21& 22 will do just fine when they finally leave their home. They've had the best teacher with "M. All 3 of them have been thru so much already. I'd like 2 believe it's our Sweet Sweet Harriet watching over them...🦅💖
Our baby E22 has learned so much at an early age! How to survive and not starve to death!! To learn ways to get food by out witting E21! I am so proud to see E22 self feed himself almost a whole fish by himself! E21 has been fed by M and the new female intruder, but E21 doesn’t have the technique down like E22 has. So, thankful for M15 continuing to protect and feed his babies! He had to learn what Harriet always did! What a champ!! What a wonderful family these 3 are! Praying branching and fledging goes well for these two babies without intruders!! Thank you Lady Hawk as always for sharing beautiful videos of our beautiful 3!! ♥️🦅♥️ **BTW The reason I call E22 him is because he is littler than E21 and his squees are lower in volume. I think E21 is a her because she is bigger and a bit louder when she squees, plus, I thought I saw something on top of her, that would definitely say she was a female, just saying lol❤🦅♥️🦅
Hi Lady Hawk ❤️🙏. I was actually able to check in at the time that E22 was getting that fish tail to demolish and I was so pleased too that he did an awesome job too. Watching that in real time just made me smile and she’d a happy tear because I knew right then and there that he is a super survivor and will be one awesome adult Eagle too and it’s definitely part Harriett but, the absolute majority is his wonderful dad Magnificent15!👍🏻🥰🦅🦅🥳 Yes,I would wish that the “female intruder” would stay away cause Magnificent15 has got this all the way but, it’s M’s decision and I think he has made a few new decisions and they are to keep an eye on his E’s and also to feed them and himself too. What a great day it was. I continue to pray that many more awesome days will continue to c9me. God bless, hugs, lovage to you and this awesome and surviving Eagle family too. Take the training wheels off M15! I think it’s time! It’s time to reach the kids to do it themselves and not rely on a parents. I know it’s tough love but it’s time! I can’t wait to see them start branching!

Lois--Thanks for some Nest History here i did not know as well as the Nat. Arboretum Nest in D.C. where i used to live. Thanks for the update on Lotus and Mr. P. And a lone hatch there in recent times as well.
Ps Thank you Lady Hawk for always taking the time to give us updates! God Bless you! ❤
God bless this family
Great job E22❣️ E21 and E22 are learning so much and doing well! Blessed is the nest 🙏❤️
Thank you so much for the video,I’m so happy E22 had a great meal🦅❤️
Y ou Be'cha this little guy is a fighter. Hallelujah, he is learning to fend for himself. Yes, HE is smaller.. It maybe because he hasn't had as much food, but maybe also that E22 is a male and E21 a female. I don't know much about it, but I've read that in eagles, the Female is larger than the males. How and when will we know for sure? Keep your fingers crossed that little 22, has said "I ain't gonna take it any more." You go little guy and more power to you.
M15 is so patient and sees that E22 is challenged by sibling
While we felt sorry for E22 watching E21 getting the food. In the long run it may have prepared him better for survival.
If you're gonna play the game, boy
You gotta learn to play it right.
You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
Looks like 22 is going to chock on the fish tail oh my !! Good job Angel on the self feed😁
So proud of 22, he learned how to use his foot to hold the food and feed himself. I’m so tired of seeing 21 take most of the food and little 22 being picked on by his sibling. I’m so happy to see a full crop on 22, way to go 22. ❤️
I am glad to see it. Thanks for the positive.
Thank you, LH. It is such a pleasure to watch them thrive!
So happy & great to see E 22 s resilience ! Another Rebel & Spirit 😊Thank you Lady Hawk 💙🦅💙🦅
Harriet would be proud❣️❣️
I was impressed by how large these eaglets are compared to their Dad now. Yes, E21 is still larger than E22 but I have a lot more confidence that E22 is going to do well.
Wow! Wasn’t that TWO fish tails?
Good job, E22 👏 👍. You fed yourself! Yes, Hunger is a good motivator.
LadyHawk Ty 4 the update...😁
Never underestimate the smaller or younger sibling. I'm sure both 21& 22 will do just fine when they finally leave their home. They've had the best teacher with "M. All 3 of them
have been thru so much already. I'd
like 2 believe it's our Sweet Sweet
Harriet watching over them...🦅💖
Way to go E22. You're well on your way
Our baby E22 has learned so much at an early age! ♥️🦅♥️
**BTW The reason I call E22 him is because he is littler than E21 and his squees are lower in volume. I think E21 is a her because she is bigger and a bit louder when she squees, plus, I thought I saw something on top of her, that would definitely say she was a female, just saying lol❤🦅♥️🦅
👑Harriet would be so proud! ❣️🦅❣️🐥❣️🐤❣️ty LH🤗❣️
Yes 🦅💙🦅💙
23:05 best part - attempt to deal with whole fish tail 😂
Sue M.(Clearwater, Florida)🥰🦅🦅🦅👍🏻❤️🥳🙏😘😁🎉❌⭕️❌⭕️
Aww my sweetheart 😘E22 is ok you learn beautiful papá teach you and mama share to you brother or sister. 🥰
Way to go 22 ❤️🦅🦅🐥🐥🇦🇺
Amazing journey they have been on so far .
Take the training wheels off M15! I think it’s time! It’s time to reach the kids to do it themselves and not rely on a parents. I know it’s tough love but it’s time! I can’t wait to see them start branching!
