EASY DIY FABRIC PUMPKINS! Fall Craft 2020

- Get ready for the EASIEST + cutest craft you’ll ever do! These pumpkins are my absolute fav to throw around my house in the fall and for Halloween to finish my decor themes! All you will need for this craft:
1- Your choice of fabric (at least a “fat quarter” worth at Walmart)
2- a sheet of matching felt
3- jute string
4- a bag of poly fill
And hold it all together with pins! (Alteration or safety pins will do!) and you’ve got the cutest fabric pumpkins that you can customize any way you like!
If you can wrap a present and tie a shoe - this is the craft for you!

One really cute boutique near home here sells these types of fabric pumpkins, and they literally use twigs as the stems. I think it looks very rustic and perfect.

This is awesome!!! At this moment I have yet to try it only because I need to get the polyfill. I will use the glue tho as I have lil ones in the house & I don't want to deny them being able to handle these due to pins. I'm really excited to do these!!! Legit, just stopped your video to do one!!! Omg!!! Love love love!!!! The ONLY thing I have to do different is to take the pins out after I get it tied and for the stem I also take the pin out and I got glue that. I did this bc the pins kept poking me and I didn’t want a potential law suit. Lol thank you for this inspiration!!

I buy cheap Walmart pillows and use the polyfill out of the pillows for making these or any other craft because the polyfill costs much more if you buy it at Hobby Lobby. 💜💙❤️

I got the fabric at Walmart! In the precut fabric section for I think only $5! They are so simple and easy to do - you will have so much fun making! Thanks for watching!
How do the pumpkins stay together when you are only using pins?
You could use safety pins and no one would get stuck!

I’ve been making fabric pumpkins for years, I’m addicted. But I use real pumpkin stems, I’ve been saving them and it’s fun to stem hunt.🎃🎃 I have pics, I wish I could send them to you.

You could always use a thimble! Or possibly hot glue!
