Can we have a moment of mourning for the greatest character in all fiction?
Farewell Skyfish, you'll never be forgotten.
Many have been pointing out that young Senshi looks like Steven Universe.
Speaking of great character design, the new Jent design with the hair back looks good. He also tells drunk half naked stories, seems like a new arc for him.
While we get the start of some great Senshi lore, Marcille continues to steal the show for me between the getting annoyed at the Gryphon not being Falin, to the mimicking the familiars' movements to her being genuinely touched by the Sky fish to being absolutely distraught the second it cuts to Laios chopping it up.
I'm excited for next week, Sung-Won mentioned he was waiting to voice whatever happens then.
Oh no, Izutsumi was sleeping on top of Chilchuck, that poor guy was getting crushed. When my cat lies on my chest it feels like a flipping rock, I can only imagine how he felt
I really like how Laios looks in his winter coat, a simple yet very nice look for him
Nooooo, why didn’t they ask Yaad for more lore!? What happened to his parents? What is his relationship with Thistle like? And what about the full history of the Golden Country, and how this Dungeon came to be? So many questions, so little time 😔
Marcille said there aren’t records of this dungeon ever having a griffin, but Senshi is clearly terrified of them. Why is he pretending he doesn’t know what they are? Why does he consider them so especially dangerous? Senshi is hiding some info from us for whatever reason.
Also, why did the griffin trap Senshi on a pillar like that instead of just killing him? That didn’t look like its nest. Maybe it has something to do with some bird behavior I’m not aware of? 🤔
So you can turn plants and animals into monsters with magic? Does that mean some of the monsters down here are just corrupted animals? I thought they were unique to this dungeon, but I guess some spells are universal throughout different dungeons, huh.
Marcille having magic VR sickness is so funny, and it really makes you wonder how Thistle is handling it so well. There must be a trick to it, besides just having loads of experience?

The animation sequences of Marcille’s familiars evading/fighting the griffin are absolute eye candy, Trigger is feeding us sooo good!

Senshi said they were digging up gears and lenses? The ancient dwarves seem very technologically advanced, giving me some Dwemer vibes.
On the trapping Senshi on a pillar thing- I would guess that the griffin thinks the pillars are too tall/smooth for him to climb down safely so he'd stay put? Maybe a temporary storage place, because of how fast the dungeon cleaners work-
(vaguely related, look up Eleonora's falcon)
And aaaah I can't wait for more Thistle lore :D
