    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  2 года назад

      It isn't something we would normally recommend doing as you say mainly because of the venting issue. The vent on the front would ideally have to be all uncovered whilst the dryer is in operation to make sure there is no heat build up in the cupboard

    So, in short, condenser tumble dryer can be kept anywhere (even in your living room), if you have a space constraint? The only thing we should be looking out will be the water collection tank? Is that right?

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  3 года назад

      Yes a tumble dryer can go in pretty much any room, but if you are looking at the heat pump dryer and it is kept in the garage then the drying duration will be longer. as far as maintenance, it would mainly be emptying the water container and cleaning the filter and condenser unit which is normally at the bottom.

    Hi, I am glad that I watched your video, however I wonder if you can help me. I purchased this dryer, sadly not from you. I received it this week, and tried the 30 min option, but it did not heat up. The clothes came out the same as I put them in. Is there a certain way that you have to programme this option on the machine? The manual is as much use as a blank piece of paper. It does not give any idea, on how to use the programmes, and some of the information relates to the condenser machine, also some of the timings on the manual, is totally different to what the machine shows on it facia. I purposely bought this machine for its 30 min programme, and just wondered if it is faulty or am I not doing something right. I did contact Beko, who said that they would send an engineer out, but I wanted to see if I could fathom out what to do first, in case it wasn't faulty. It is only 5 days old. I hope that you don't mind me asking you, but there doesn't seem to be a technical dept at Beko, that is able to help me over the phone. Many thanks Val.

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  3 года назад +1

      After 30 minutes it should show signs of being warm. Personally i would try it on a longer programme to see if it is drying first. If it is drying after approx 60 minutes then it should be ok as a test. Another question is where is the dryer located? If it is in a garage or outhouse then this could also be the problem.

    • @valeriepoole1535
      @valeriepoole1535 3 года назад

      @@lords-electrical Hi, thank you so much for your reply. I did let it finish the programme, of 30 mins and it was still cold. It dries okay on other programmes as I tested it to see if it would. It is located in the garage, but i have only used it once the day after it was installed there. So it looks like it might be faulty on the 30 min programme.

      be mindfull that the heat pump cannot be inverted due to the compressor so you have to reach up to operate contols if the heat pump is stacked ontop of a washer

      @@lords-electrical Dryer should have a proper Airflow at least 260 CFM for 7 cu ft size. But it only exist in commercial Dryer. Making the temp hotter only destroy the clothes, clothes need to be blown by powerful air in medium temp
