Wow, dang Rachel... What a very beautiful tank, it looks so lovely... I like it and I love the fact that your so intelligent about it all... That's just so nice and a video well put together... I have currently a 40 gal river tank I been slowly working on... It's looking really nice and beautiful so far... I plan to have a video of it on my channel when I'm done... It's been a long road up to now where it is... It would be nice, to be able to chat about all of this sometime... I did subscribe to your channel, so I don't miss anything... I can see I'm gonna have to binge watch your videos to get cought up... Lol!!! Keep up the good work sweetie and stay blessed... Much love, Bonez...
One thing I will say is that whoever’s tank you spotlight should feel quite honored. Your filming and your ability to subtly add music is impressive at a minimum. I’ve watched most of your work. There’s not too many out there that catch things the way you do. Your videos are relaxing and they bring me the serenity my own tanks do.
I understand that you would like to have people visit your website, but what I liked a lot about your channel was the names poping up on the screen as I watch.
Not only do I just adore this aquarium but I've loved sitting back watching the beauty on the screen and listening to you explain everything in there. Rachel your awesome
Your really making everyone elses work look amazing! Rachel O'Leary is constantly doing great things. Thank you for all the hard work youre putting in to make other people shine.
Love this video. The hill-stream is one of my favourite tanks of hers and you definitely did it justice. Edited to add: I love the article format. It's a clean way to provide all the info one could need without bogging down the flow of the video or needing you to answer the same question over and over. Definitely appreciate it.
I've seen your work before. But wow that was very well done with great artistry and stunning videography. It definitely gave me a new perspective on Rachel's tank and her room which I have seen quite often. Any ways, you got a new subscriber now! Keep it up!
Super video. This is my # 1 all time favorite tank of Rachael's. I have watched it from set up to her taking us rock gathering locally for it, to initial plantings...to see it evolve year by year has been so amazing, So hard to believe it's been over 3 years. Now, I'm off to go read your article.
Not many of us can achieve the ongoing balance of fertility and health that Rachel has provided in her masterpiece. You, sir, did right by her with this proper upload👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾!
I've seen this tank many times and this looked as good as I ever remember it. Sometimes we have a full build out in our minds. I like where the tank is now, but am sure that it will be great later on as well.
I LOVE seeing your footage of this aquarium. I started watching Rachel with mountain minnows and I found YOU thanks to her mention of you about a year ago. I'd love to see just footage of fish with some music (the less educational version of the Hillstream tank). Seeing a tank with THAT much flow is truly awesome and make me feel like I'm in the mountains. I can hear the water and feel the chill in the air that mountain streams provide. Thank you for covering this tank!!
Rachel, this is my favorite video. It is like a documentary. I really enjoyed listening to your descriptions of scape plant life and the best species spot-light. If you every come to Massachusetts to do a speaking engagement I'm sure I won't leave disappointed. Thank you Alex.... I've subscribed.
The crypts look a lot like Cryptocoryne wendentii "Florida Sunset". I love the colors of them! Tank looks great!!! Fantastic job! Such a great video Alex!
Do you have a video that highlights Rachel’s 75 nano fish from South America? I want to set up something similar with large schools of nano fish. Thanks, beautiful video and I just subscribed!
its only half the size of the tank, the main "bushy" area gets quite dark, as does the bolbitis end, its just the middle, where the crypt thicket is, that the light is on almost all the time.
Ahh,she removed much of the big B.heudelotii since last year when she featured the 150. I love that plant..and that's it so hard to get makes it even more of a lust! Mine are centerstage..no fooling around. Lots of light and let it grow all it wants. That background color is unusual .I wonder if she ever mentions why she went with that over blue or black?
Getting to do a piece on Rachel's tanks; especially this tank, is the chance of a lifetime. My question is, who did you have to kill? Seriously though, you did a wonderful job displaying the greatness and uniqueness of the hillstream tank. Will there be a follow up video on the "Big Boys?"
I don't really measure pH, but keep the tds around 100. The tank is not heated, and is on the "cold side" of my room, so seasonally (and gradually) ranges from 20-23C/68-74F
Hi dude. I'm a photographer and just wonder if you ever used polarizing filters to reduce some of lamp reflections? Not sure how and if it would help with filming... Great shots of superb tank, thank you. Best regards from UK. Thumbs up as always, keep developing your skills👍

Hello! What kind of fish on the 8th minute?
Your best video thus far.
rachel is the boss! nice video.
Nice tank keep up the good work😎👍👊
Beautiful tank!! I have one question. How do u get algae wafer to stick to the glass? Maybe that would work for my otto cats to find them?
This particular brand of food just sticks to the glass. I don’t recall the brand though!
Thank you!
Do you have a video that highlights Rachel’s 75 nano fish from South America? I want to set up something similar with large schools of nano fish. Thanks, beautiful video and I just subscribed!
love your camera equipment!
Great video Alex. My thanks to both Rachel and yourself.
Gorgeous tank, amazing video!
Awsome tank...!!!!!!
Well done as always.
Beautiful tank... ☺
Brilliant as always Alex, What sort of Fertilizers is she dosing?
She does not fertilize that tank!
That's the Jedi Way :-)
the qualityyyyy!!!
So well done!
Rachel did you say the shop light stays on 24hrs a day. Do those fish need a little darkness to sleep? I’m just curious not being critical.
That's right , they need the darkness to rest like wild world
its only half the size of the tank, the main "bushy" area gets quite dark, as does the bolbitis end, its just the middle, where the crypt thicket is, that the light is on almost all the time.
Rachel O'Leary
Awesome tank! Thanks for the response! One of my favorites on you tube with out a doubt! Thanks for the work you put into it!
Love your content Alex !!! AMAZING

That background color is unusual .I wonder if she ever mentions why she went with that over blue or black?
How does the Crypts gets its nutrients? They can't take it from the water column right they feed from substrate.
Wow what a tank
Getting to do a piece on Rachel's tanks; especially this tank, is the chance of a lifetime. My question is, who did you have to kill?
Seriously though, you did a wonderful job displaying the greatness and uniqueness of the hillstream tank. Will there be a follow up video on the "Big Boys?"
I didn’t have to kill anyone. I did have to drive a few hours to get to her! So that’s it’s own sacrifice?
Well done!
Excellent vid!
Thank you!
May I know what's the dimension of that 150g?
Love this vid keep it up.
Super nice!
At what temperature and pH is the tank usually?
I don't really measure pH, but keep the tds around 100. The tank is not heated, and is on the "cold side" of my room, so seasonally (and gradually) ranges from 20-23C/68-74F
awesome job alex!!
Very nicely done. Subscribed
water temperature?
I LOVE IT!

Great shots of superb tank, thank you. Best regards from UK. Thumbs up as always, keep developing your skills👍
Nope. A nice set of polarizing filters is on my to-purchase list though! Thanks!
Can you list the fish some times please.
Whats the name of this plants
Light 24 hours? No darkness at all. Do you not think that is unnatural. I believe life needs some darkness.. Your thoughts. I really enjoy your videos
Another great video!
Very Good.
Thank you!
How often are water changes done in your Hillstream Nature Aquarium?
I love big tanks with small fish
Oh you know it! I subscribed!

The HEELSTREAM in 4K is a completely different show
