God is so good! I am a Sunday school teacher. Recently I was blessed with a new classroom. We have so much room now! A full kitchen and our own bathrooms.

Happy Birthday, Miss May! This is my birthday month, too. I just turned 53. My positive is that I still love teaching after 31 years. I want my students to love books and reading, so I plan a March Madness Book Challenge for them. They love it!

A positive thing in my life is I’m grateful that God wakes me up every morning. I’m also thankful for my 19 students that I get to hug every morning ❤
I’m a first year teacher and we have a brand new principal and brand new AP on our campus this year…it’s been hard but another teacher popped in my room Friday and told that they’ve been teaching for 20+ years and that I’m doing an amazing job. Sometimes data isn’t accurate because kids don’t always try their hardest or they just click through tests because they’re first graders and don’t feel like doing it. So I will pass that comment on to y’all, YOU ARE DOING AN AMAZING JOB, KEEPING SHOWING UP AND LOVING THISE KIDDOS! Also Ms. May, I bought the bundle for your math folders and I love it💗! One of my favorite things is seeing my students' reading levels go up and those students who have struggled look up at you wide-eyed, a smile on their face, and proud they CAN read. That happened twice this week!! We're making progress!!

They love it and prompt anyone that might want to hesitate to say okay and do it. And we move on with our day.
