Nice work on these Carl - definitely worth the effort. Can’t wait for your SI journey when you get to it! Thanks! I hope more people take the opportunity to view these.
From Oz … have binge watched the set … congratulations … very informative. Easy to watch! I’d like to get Big T on contract, delivering cold beers…. 😁😁
Top quality vid Carl. Like others here, I'm considering returning home to NZ to do something epic before I kark it. Your TA images and commentary have been inspiring, as is your laid back demeanour. Thank you for making the effort on all fronts.
@kevinoconnell4186 sure is a great country to explore. I'm all booked to do the South Island in January. Thanks for the feedback, it motivates me to continue videoing.
Hi Carl just watched all of your videos over here in the UK and enjoyed them all. Its got me wishing that Spring arrives here asap. You rode some great routes but boy those suspension bridges would get my heart beating faster. Looking forward to future videos. Stay safe out there. Ted
Thanks for the support Ted, It sure was a good time. Can't wait to do the South Island (next year). Some of these routes would be a nightmare if someone had a fear of heights.
Well done on doing the ride and these video's, I found them entertaining and informative, Thanks. I turn 60 next year and am planning on doing this TA North Island route next Feb/March, and South Island the following year. Will be a bit slower than you guys.
Thanks for the feedback. Good on ya for planning to knock out this route. I'm booked in to do the south island in Jan25. I'm really pleased that I split the ride over two years. I think I will appreciate it more that way. Keep an eye out for the SI videos

Nice set of videos.
Hi Carl what an awesome cycle series with the perfect mix of humour, history and trail storytelling. Probably making every kiwi ex-pat homesick!
