In this short video, Matt shows you how to clean the printhead of an Epson Expression Home XP-5150. This is essential knowledge for resolving almost any print quality issue with your printer, from missing colours to striped prints, we recommend doing this first.
Cleaning in this way does use up black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink within your installed 502 & 502XL ink cartridges, so be sure to use this function of your Epson Expression Home XP-5150 printer sparingly.
We have used an Epson Expression Home XP-5150 in this video, but this process remains identical for the other machines in the series, like the XP-5155 too.
