Thanks. I have the ML 585 and love it. The build quality is perfection.

I have a pair of Fyne Audio F1-5 speakers. How do you think these will pair. The Fynes run warm and I need some brightness to bring out details. Thanks!

I wish we had such nice and competent audio dealers in Poland. Thank you for excellent videos! Can't wait to see more. Mark Levinson 5805 is my dream amplifier. I have JBL L100 Classic and I think they would pair nicely together. I hope I will be able to save money and somewhere in the future be able to affort this unit.

I saw an arcam amp in the shelves. Do you think the mark lev is a big leap from the arcam?

"when it doubles, its a sign that it is a very well designed amplifier"- next sentence "so 240 watts at 4 ohms, 370 at 2 ohms" all i needed to know.

Philipp314 I got to see (and hear) these amps at the Florida Audio Expo. The thing is built like a tank inside - huge toroidal transformer and 80,000mF total capacitance. It weighs 62 lbs! Very powerful indeed.

I have a question for ML 5805. Will it be able to comfortably drive JBL L100 Classic? I have the speakers and I find them difficult to drive. I tested them with cheaper alternatives than ML 5805 that were 200W into 4 ohms and they didn't make the speakers come alive, the bass driver was struggling. Cheaper integrated amplifiers with 100W into 8 ohms can't drive those speakers to their full potential. What concerns me is that this amp is only 130W into 8 ohms and 210W into 4 ohms. It has the weight and build quality to provide a lot of current. but I want to ask what your experiences are with this amp and JBL L100 Classic compared to for example ML 585. I am saving money for a major purchase and want to make sure that I am going in the right direction. Thank you very much for your help! Marcin

Makes me nervous when you leave the unit plugged and powered up while you remove the top and stick your hand inside. I am sure you know what you’re doing but “things” happen. Be careful. 😁👍🏻

I love meaningless (to me) audio jargon. "A sound that is "layered."" Whatever that means. I'm thinking "Echoplex tape loop layering?" And that would be a GOOD thing?????
