The fact that they haven’t played their best baseball yet should be encouraging. Who is to say that anyone is better than the Yankees right now? Honestly you have to play the teams in front of you. At some point you have to give credit to the teams you are facing in the playoffs for being good teams!
You can’t deny the facts and stats the Orioles had the Yankees number they beat them in the season series and the Astros have beat the Yankees in the playoffs for 2017, 2019 2022, the Astros perhaps wouldn’t beat the Yankees in 2024
@@TonyTone1 the fact is the orioles and Astros couldn’t win 1 game in the postseason that’s the last i want to hear about teams sitting at home watching the Yankees beat up on teams they couldn’t beat
I love how these guys make up their own subjects to talk about, and then get mad about them. Nobody's forcing you to talk about strength of schedule! The bullpen has caught fire at exactly the right time. Stanton's hot. Rizzo is back and making a difference. So many fun topics if you want them!
Judge should have taken the Soto IBB situation as a motivating type situation and attempt to capitalize on Cleveland's defensive gamble. It shouldn't have been a scenario to feel disrespected by since he hasn't been doing much when he's come up to bat.
Garret Cole didn’t have it -well Michael he needs to have with greater regularity than he’s so far has when he is in the postseason. I give him credit because in the Kansas City Royals game that he pitched he actually did pitch like an ace. I think he needs to be much better than he was during this last outing against the Cleveland ball club. very easily he could’ve given that game away. He got lucky that ball was not a game tying two run homer!
Yankees have not had the easiest path, they’re just dominating the teams they play. Big difference. An easy path is what the Celtics faced last season playing teams with injuries playing weak teams who beat other injured teams etc. Cleveland is the second best in the AL all year not the Yankees fault they are shooting themselves in the foot when playing the yanks. Not to mention beating the wild card royals
@@Dre2Dee2 like I said Cleveland who were fighting to clinch the number 1 seed with the yanks been hot all year had a guy batting 400 for majority of the season have an all around contact oriented offense with a star players who went 40 for 40 in Jose Ramirez. The Yankees do have an easy path, denying the truth doesn’t change the facts. if the Yankees had to face the Orioles as wild card and Dodgers in A.L.C.S. it wouldn’t be an easy path like it’s now
it's annoying hearing about the path was easy for the Yankees to get to the WS last i checked the series is still going on with CLE. we have to finish that and with all due respect to CLE and KC they are worthy opponents it doesn't matter if the path was hard or not. the fact is we play who qualifies for the playoffs we don't control that. people need to stop putting levels to championships a title win is just that if we win it we earned it.
@@JackRice007 I'll say that if the first 2 games were as well as NY can play, even as we played as awful as we have all year, then Cleveland has hope. The Yankees won 93 and we won 92, so there isn't much difference between them. KC isn't far from being a very good team, it shouldn't be overlooked that they aren't far removed from horrendously losing seasons not unlike Baltimore over the past few years.
Cleveland not out of this yet. They are scrappy, and I think they have great chemistry together. Yankees are the better team clearly, and should win but anything can happen. Let’s go Yanks

Although Wells was hitless again last night he did hit a few balls right on the button ….. he looks close, leave him where he is.
Agreed! Looks a lot like earlier this season. He will put it together!
Wells is not a cleanup hitter even when he is hitting.
I dont care how it looks, A win is a win, 6 more wins to go
