It is us the citizens of Ghana who treat our homeland as a putrid dumping site. We throw our rubbish where we stand, and then blame the government for not cleaning up after us as if we are children. The government can help by providing rubbish bins that are emptied on a regular basis. Gutters should be grated. The public fined for littering. Have you seen Rwanda and how clean it is?
This is what we call #LetsFixTheCountry not that #FixTheCountry nonsense you people were talking about. A nation building is a collective effort. Get involved and stop fooling on social media.

I support the monthly clean up exercises and this should be done across the country especially Accra. It should not end and the assemblies should bring the sanitary inspectors(tankas) back.
How many times are they going to do this kind of exercise. They should learn from past experience that it doesn't resolve the problem. Litter bins need to be installed across the country. Anybody seen littering should be fined or arrested. City cleaners should be employed to clean the city daily and Zoomlion should have days scheduled for waste collection across the country. The government should have a long term plan to cover all gutters and drainage. This doesn't require a lot of money, it will create employment and resolve flooding issues.

If you find anyone throwing something in gutter ,he or she should be fined
There should be formal and informal hygienic and sanitation education in Ghana. Trashing of the country by the citizens is extremely too much.
Can we have the telephone number of the number of the leader or can they create a website. We wants to donate to help the movement.
