I'm a mess, an added stress, a vacant nest, glued together by memories and you said it best, life's a bitch until we die and for the longest time I tried to tell myself that that was a lie, and I'd shy away from thoughts like that but now I just thrive, some days I feel as if my brain won't let me unwind, I sound so pathetic but I'm losing my pride, but I can't hide in it, I'll die in it before I subside, don't leave me hanging, all your things packed in your car and I'm facing all the things that I said, all the nights stuck in my bed wishing you could leave, but you were scared of losing me, watching your car pull out of the driveway for one last time, I'm sick and i'm stuck in a rut it's a thin line between all the tensions, the suffering and trials, and my own self absorbed way of life, I'm a child, I wanna taste you one more time, and tell you you're all mine but now I'm left with no spine, and all the blame's just mine, it's a crime to hold you here with those eyes, if you ever see or think of me I hope you realize that you're better off now, and I'll always be proud

I have cried to this song so many times in the last nine years. Recently I sent this to my ex when we finally came to complete closure of our former relationship. I sit here sobbing just like the woman in this video, and I can feel each and every word Landon says so deeply. Landon has always had a way with being able to depict exactly how I feel, no matter if it were his solo stuff or The Plot in You, but this song will always hit a soft spot of the most raw vulnerability Landon can offer in his insane range of talent. I’m so thankful for this because it’s what’s helping me process a relationship that was both the most beautiful and yet most heartbreaking experience of my life and I am so grateful for it all. It’s so healing.

5 years later, I came back to this song after a breakup.
Goddamn. That was completely unexpected. The emotion and feeling from this song is unbelievable. I wont say this is the only song thats been able to put out emotion like that, or cause me to feel as intensely as this has, but for raw emotion and complete unyielding honesty, this is easily one of the greatest.

Beautiful. Deepest, most emotional song ive ever heard. I literally listened to this song for 8 hours straight when it came out. Make more songs like this Landon. It's absolutely gorgeous. Lyrics are great, and the music... Pure bliss and eargasms. I can feel the emotion flow through the song, ive never been able to with any other song..thats how much emotion you put into this. Poured your heart and soul into this piece. Thats how all music should be. Keep it up.

Its weird because I relate to this through her. I know this is how she feels about what she did to me. Nothing can make the thoughts stop. I've lost my fear of the dark and gained a fear of closing my eyes because I know what I'll see.
The amount of raw emotions in this song is just haunting. I would love to say that I am can't relate, but I've fucked up most relationships I've had. Some my fault so theirs but I get the anguish of wanting someone you know is better off without you.
